Introducing Staff Applications to Zathyus Support

For many years now, InvisionFree and ZetaBoards have been staffed by a team of hand-picked volunteers, excelling at customer service. Identifying members of our community who demonstrate good behavior and support giving talents has been our sole method of recruitment...until now!

Last year, we launched a new approach to hiring staff on our official resource board, allowing you to show us your interest in contributing to the Zathyus network, and becoming part of the resources staff team. We are pleased to introduce this method to the Support board as well.

As of today, you can now apply for a position on the Zathyus team. Positions in both our support and community teams are available.

I'm interested! How does it work?

Important: It's very easy to apply, but don't rush into anything. If you're genuinely interested in becoming part of our team, take some time to think about your application. There's no deadline to apply at the moment, nor is there a quota on how many applications we'll accept. Additionally, while we are flexible, we do have expectations that must be taken seriously.

You can post applications in the Personal Support Ticket section of this board. Simply posting a topic with answers to the following questions is all we require for the initial application:

Part 1:

Please provide links to accounts you have on other Zetaboards and Invisionfree boards:

Please provide a link to any blog, website, or board you own or frequent:

Have you ever been banned from a website, chatroom or message board?

Is there any person we can contact for a reference? If yes, please list their name and contact information:

Part 2:

Part 3:

Please provide your time zone:

Please list the hours you are free most often during a normal week:

Please state if you have any outside obligations such as a job or school:

Please state your current age (This information will not be made public):

Part 4:

Please provide a paragraph on why you are interested in this position and why you are qualified:

If you have anything you wish to add that was not addressed in this application, please list it now:

Important: Please attempt all questions, even if they're geared towards a position you're not interested in.

Title the application with your username, and use the topic description to specify whether you're interested in the "Support", "Community", or "Both" teams.
Important: getting little details like these right can help your application!

What happens next?

After submitting your application, you can expect to receive a response within two weeks, so check your application topic regularly to see if we've got back to you.

If you have any questions, let one of our staff know, and we'll be happy to help. :)
