Custom Domain Issues (Updated/Fixed)

Communities on ZetaBoards may be currently experiencing custom domain issues. While this is related to the recent server upgrade, it is being caused by a change out of our control at our server provider.

If you're experiencing issues at this time it is because your domain is being pointed with an A record to your server's old IP address (the one the server had before the move). We had made allowances for this to work without interruption, but there was a change made early this morning that is preventing our fix from working. We're working with our server provider to resolve this issue and restore normal access to your community via your custom domain without the need for any changes on your end.

In the meantime there are several options you have to make sure your community is accessible.

1) Point your custom domain using JUST a CNAME record to the appropriate server sub-domain (ie. s4.zetaboards.com)

2) Update your A record to point to the new server IP address (server IP addresses are listed in this documentation)

3) In your domain manager make your default domain the ZB default address (ie. s1.zetaboards.com/yourboardname)

All of these options should provide normal access to your community until we're able to resolve the issue for everyone.

Thanks for your patience and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

This issue should be resolved now. If you would like to prevent something like this from happening in the future, we would recommend updating your A record to either the correct IP address, or replacing it with a CNAME record.

If you're still having trouble, please let us know so we can take a closer look at your site.
