There aren't any major features from IPB v1.3, but here they are: Admin CP -> Forum Control -> New Forum (also found in Manage Forums -> Settings) "Email addresses to send new __ awaiting approval notification?" Where __ is either new topic and/or new posts depending on your selection next to "Moderate postings?". Admin CP -> System Settings -> Topics, Posts & Polls Under "Posts & Posting" is: - Order posts within a topic (sort posts in a topic either ascending or descending) - No. characters to word wrap on? (Prevents long unbroken words which distort tables) We use 70 for No. characters to word wrap on. See this topic. |

This feature sends an e-mail when ever the forum gets a post or topic which needs a moderator to approve it. This is a great feature because you can find whats posts need moderators aproval very quickly, but this feature could resault in your inbox being crammed with these messages, so be carefull when using this feature.
this is a great feature which alows you to reorder posts in a topic. Whether you want your oldest post first which could come in handy when playing forum games or you want the oldest post last (Ascending) Remember, this affects every topic in your board so be carefull what you do.
Some members like to post geberish, a lot of letters with no gaps. This can resault in the whole topic looking destorded. You can fix that with this new feature. This lets you choose the amount of characters or symbols and letters you want in 1 line. After a word goes past this limit the whole word eather jumps to the next line or the word splits in to parts on different lines. Dont set this limit too low but not to high or it wont have any affect |
