If you are using a custom domain name with your board and are having trouble connecting, your domain’s A record may be out of date. You’ll need to update your domain’s A record to the correct IP address for your server. We have setup instructions for various registrars if it’s been a while since you’ve done this. It can take a few hours for the change to take effect. To access your Admin CP while your domain is down, add /admin/ to the end of your board’s URL. E.g., if your board is http://s1.zetaboards.com/yourboardname/, then go to http://s1.zetaboards.com/yourboardname/admin/. From there, go to the Domain Manager, where you can set your InvisionFree or ZetaBoards URL as the primary domain again. We've resolved a forwarding issue so you should now be able to access your board even if you're using the incorrect IP address. That being said, you should still look at Ben's instructions and update your IP address. |
