Timetable for Brandon Support

Oct 22 2012, 05:06 AM · Recovered body

So at the end of September, we converted our old Invision board to a Zetaboard. We were under the impression this would take a few days tops. Our Invision Board was very old (around 8 years), with thousands of posts. So when the conversion seemed to be slow, we assumed it was that. Once a couple weeks passed... We knew something bad was up.

So we opened a new board, put in a support ticket and followed the proper process, in hopes of getting out board back. We were eventually told that this was a Brandon problem and that, only he could look into it.

We're still very hopeful that this is an issue that can be fixed. The entire reason we tried to convert to Zetaboards was because we were worried that since Invision didn't back up we might lose these 8 years worth of posts and writings. So this whole thing is unusually frustrating, but we're fine with waiting it out, if it means a resolution is coming.

Anyway, it was directed to Brandon about two weeks ago. We haven't heard a peep yet. Rather than get all upset, we're mostly just curious... What's the timetable for Brandon to get to something like this? Does it usually take a few days, weeks?

Mostly just curious. The longer this goes, the more the spirits of the folks who write at our boards go down. But we keep telling people that it's been directed to the head cheese in development, but it would be quite helpful if we could say how long that process usually is.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
