This past week I got a report from another forum called Neo-anime, that Hollywood is going to make a Metroid movie. Ok, before you start celebrating, let me get one thing straight. Hollywood is planning on hiring the guy who did American Pie and American Wedding. I ask you people, Is Hollywood really THAT stupid nowadays?

You don't get news very fast do you? I knew this about the beginning of the year and I know that they canned the idea of a Metroid movie.

Maybe this is just me... but i think halo could actually be a cool movie, if done right.

yeah it could :) but it would probably get screwed up. (like most game movies)

It would have to change alot though like have a group of enhanced solidors like MC instead of having 1 guy shooting stuff throughout the movie.

They could just have some of the soldiers with him, and just have cool stunts of alien shooting :) , like Master Chief in bullet time flying backwards shooting all, or dodging 2 hunters and shooting them both in the back. A great movie indeed :banana:

Stupid hollywood. They should get a good director who has credibility.

Ah, Rekiller, they've re-opened the idea. The producer had only this to say; "Its going to take about as long, if not longer than the Resident Evil movie to make." They're thinking about getting a new director.
By the way, RE the movie was actually really good. Nice action, decent plot, and really no crappy acting that I could notice.

How long did RE movie take?
RE was a pretty decent movie but not near as good as the games. The next RE movie is going to be cool though :D

I'm actually more interested in the Silent Hill movie that is probably due out in 2008 or 2010. The director claimed that he would try his hardest to keep the Silent Hill feel, and not ruin the movie for the sake of Hollywood tradition.
