Name: Buntaro Nashima
Gender: Male
Age:1751
Apparent Age:15
Place of Birth: Countryside, Kyushu, Japan
Species: Vampire.
Coven:Amman
Appearance: Buntaro is much simpler in dress owing to his withdrawn nature. He cares little what clothing he wears and is often dressed in clothing chosen by his sister to keep him updated. The colors are all neutral, and he recently has begun wearing a trench coat. He is 4' 11'' and weighs 134 lbs. Again his hair is black but short cropped and out of the way. The most remarkable thing about Buntaro is his eyes. They are a very pale shade of gray, giving him a haunting look when paired with his oriental complexion.

History: "Buntaro and Mariko were born in japan on the island of Kyushu in the late Yayoi period. Their parents had migrated from the continent to Japan to begin life anew as farmers. The country had just recently been introduced to rice farming and was ripe for development and they saw in this a chance to provide a better life for the children they wished to raise.
However they were not the only ones to have this thought and a massive migration began to swarm the small island of japan, overwhelming the indigenous population of hunters and gatherers. It also had another not so expected effect. The hunters of the night, those who drank the blood of humans, recieved a gift as if from the gods. More prey with fewer social ties than ever before, and as is the way of things: when the humans prosper the vampires prosper. With the huge influx of prey came the much less noticed growth of the vampire population. This led to near anarchy among the deadly immortals. More fledglings than could be controlled and taught were created, and so more immortals were born and more humans died who were never missed.
The oldest in the country began to see the destruction and following war that would come and they allied themselves to right the balance. They began sweeping the country destroying the wild vampires with as much discretion as possible. It was during this dark time that a very young vampire sought to increase his protection and hide among numbers. He was the the wild vampires incarnate and as such had difficulties with the creation of fledglings. When he came upon the small family of four in their hut it took him two mortals to calm himself enough to endure not draining his victims. The parents' empty husks were cast aside and he made his way first to the girl's side. She was the youngest in the family and much like her brother, was fast asleep. If he was nothing else, he was quiet. Their transformation was completed for only minutes when his plan began to fall apart. He had underestimated the elder vampires and they caught up with him moments into his glory. After the wild one was slain the elders set upon the two newborns to destroy them as well. However, one nameless vampire stayed the others actions. He argued that these two were not beyond help and were too young to have committed the atrocities of their master.
In the end his arguments won out and it fell to another to teach them. The vampire in question was named Naturu. And so, for the next few centuries the siblings Buntaro and Mariko learned the laws that the Japanese Elders had decided to put in place for the protection of their kind. They were as thus: No vampire may sire more than one other until that one has grown to maturity at the agreed age of 500 years. All feeding must be done with as much caution as is possible to keep the humans unaware. And additionally another less related law was passed to keep the peace among the individual provinces, that being that no immortal may hunt or feed in the territory of another without express permission from that province's ruling elder. All of these laws were made under penalty of death to be exacted by any immortal witness to the trespass. In this manner many years passed in utter peace for the hunters of the night.
So it was that during this time the two siblings made their way with their new master to the province of Hokkaido in an area now known as the Hokkaido prefecture. They watched and learned as the Asuka period came about and witnessed the rise and fall of many emperors. The creation of the traditional katana can be attributed to the vampires as a weapon of incredible durability was needed to enter battle within the race of immortals. In many ways the development of the Japanese can be considered a shadow of the development of the vampires throughout their feudal histories. In this time Mariko, the young girl, learned the use of such weapons in traditional combat styles from her master; while latent abilities in Buntaro were unlocked at a very early age giving him more power than usual newborns are dealt. His mind seemed incredibly adapted to telekinetic use. So with their morals and their development guided thus it was only a matter of time that they should join the Amman once the covens came to be. Their work has been-" Lucius stopped abruptly in his story as the pair in question entered the building. "Ah, here they are now. I will let them explain their story to you further Darren. For who could know it better. But first perhaps I should explain the situation to them."
Darren nodded his agreement with a slight smile as the pair walked into the room. They were a slightly mismatched pair. The girl was dressed in very bright clothing popular with girls in her apparent age while the boy was dressed in as unremarkable clothing as his sisters was vibrant. It took him off guard as he realized that this pair, young as they appeared, were actually his elders by a number of centuries.
The girl's voice was still the adolescent voice she would have were she naturally human, as she had escaped the usual dulling and aging that the voices of most immortal children seemed to adopt, "You wouldn't happen to be talking to this stranger about us, would you, Lucius? You know that would be-"
"Rude." Her brother added, his voice just above a whisper and lacking all character. A slight smile crossed his lips and Darren realized they were teasing their leader.
"I was simply beginning the story for you Mariko, Buntaro. It was more a history. I will trust you to tell our visitor the rest of your story shortly. As to why, there seems to be a situation brewing with our neighbors to the north. Darren here has come to request assistance, at the request of a fellow member, Nebti, as it has struck the Amman chapter there directly. An unnamed vampire has attacked our brothers, causing a blood feud, and has the potential to begin blatantly disregarding the decree for secrecy. I was just explaining why you two would be perfect to assist the Amman of Demaitre."
A pout formed on Mariko's face, "Oh Lucius! Don't you love us anymore? Sending us to Canada like-"
"Mariko." Her brother interjected.
She sighed heavily then turned to Darren "Right where did you leave off?"
A smile flashed across Darren's lips at the girls small tantrum, "I believe Lucius left off at explaining your training."
"Naturu." Buntaro said as if that explained everything. His sister huffed, shooting a glance in Buntaro's direction.
"You should leave the explaining to me Bunta-kun, I don't think Darren will catch on quickly enough if you tell it."
Buntaro made no sign that he noticed his sisters admonishment but moved to a chair beside Lucius. Mariko remained standing, staring resolutly at Darren's hip. "Before I start, may I?" she said pointing at his sword.
Darren glanced down at the blade then pulled it out, "You may, Emperor Temmu commissioned its creation as a show of gratitude for my assistance in his rise to the throne" He handed the sword, handle first, to the girl. She inspected the blade for a moment, and then handed it back.
"Its a good weapon, as far as human standards go, but they could never quite time the forging right." She smiled as one with her brother and the contrast was again startling. One full of life, the other the ghost of an emotion. "Anyway, lets finish this story.
As you know our master's name was Naturu, and believe me we couldn't have gotten a better teacher for what one goes through at such a young age. Not only was he nice, he was wise. Much wiser than the other elders back then. You mentioned Emperor Temmu, so I assume you are familiar with the Yoshino Monks. They were the remnant of a group of pets the vampires in that area would keep long before you arrived. However their masters broke one of our laws and were executed. The monks continued on acting like pawns anyway - I guess it was all they knew by then - and would shelter Vampires. But my point is their existence in a vampire free province is only due to their master's idiocy. Anyway, there were a few incidents here and there throughout our training but none that ever struck near enough to involve us. I don't have any particular strengths with the type of powers ancients pride themselves on, I mean, mind influence is easy enough, but the rest is really just beyond me for some reason, and oddly enough Naturu found that Buntaro is as close to clumsy as vampires come, but has un-naturally keen psychic and telekinetic abilities. Naturu taught us to use our skills in unison and made us stay with him far beyond our required five hundred years. We were nearly eight hundred when he released us. Our mission was to spread the type of order found in Japan across the world. Which we did with varying success for the next few centuries. However when the persecution of accused vampires began we melted back into the shadows of the orient and remained there throughout the duration of the Dark Times.
"After things in the world settled down we slowly made our way back across the great continent and in our travels learned more and more about the new Covens that had sprung up during our absence. We were particularly interested in the Amman. When we were accepted into their ranks we traveled back to Japan to inform our master of the new organization in our race. You see Japan stayed socially detached from the world for much longer than most other cultures. In fact the covens would have been much longer in reaching the island had there not been the wisdom of our master to guide us outward. The mortals in Japan at large stayed separate from the world until the late 1800's to early 1900's. However the covens reached Japan in 1743. As you can imagine with their history most of the Vampires in our homeland are now members of the Amman. Of course there are those areas where the old laws had begun to lapse and the others have also placed firm footholds there, but none in such mass. Anyway, we decided that our talents were better served here in the developing Western Civilization, and here we have stayed since. New Orleans is only our most recent stop but we have been here for nearly seventy years."
"And your help has been greatly appreciated." Lucius finished for her, "But now you are needed elsewhere. Will you agree to accompany Darren back to Demaitre?"
"Where needed." Buntaro put in, his voice barely registering as sound at all.
Mariko nodded, "Where needed." She put a big smile on for Darren and headed out the door, followed shortly by her brother.
"Well there you have it. Give them time to pack and you may be on your way my friend." A sad smile played on Lucius's face, "But we will miss them."
"If they are half as skilled as they sound they will be fine. and again thank you Lucius. You have no idea how much this will help. Marcus, I'm sure, will be very pleased." Darren stood looking out to the sky, a smile on his face.
I realize a double Character posting is unorthodox and am willing to make the proper revisions if necessary. however my reasoning behind it is that the two are a set and have not been separated since birth. The history would be the same and it saves time to put both here. All historical study was found via Wikipedia. :D
Also, I forgot to mention that I have permission from Leatrix (she is the one who brught me here XD) to reference her character (Nebti) in such a way.
