With all these new players (brillient everyone of you!) I am curious as to how you all came to find this place or who pointed you in this direction?

Around a month or two ago we were in real difficulty with the lack of posting and after we all said we'd help out with advertising it appears to have worked with on average one new person a day.

I tried to advertise in my school, on a few websites and RPG websites, and generally through word of mouth but haven't recognised any, appart from recently, who I know and of that reason I am slightly disapointed!

Someone is doing a grand job with bringing all you new guys...but whom?

Heh, well, I put Vital up on Soar. That might have helped. I highly doubt it, but I prefer optimism. So, yes! I have done some good!

I actually didn't (or don't... it's still pending) know how to RP until last night. @_@ I was actually on neopets, on the Writer's Board, when someone started a depate. We started talking, compared authors, and she got on the subject of RP, to which I (rather shamefully, I might add) announced that I did not know how. So, I got a free tutorial! *happy* She then posted some RP sites for another user, and I looked at this one, and joined! Alright, I reread everything a million times, went to bed, and THEN I joined, but same diff. I'm not quite sure what her name was, we never got that far. *embarrassed* I don't know if it means anything to you, but her username was switchstar. (If you're out there, help would be appreciated.)

So... yeah. I'm going to use this time to apologize in advance for my rookie-ism.

I think so, but I don't think the url worked for me. Two other sites she listed were Citrine and Facade. I'd post her email, but I don't think that would be right.

I think I know exactly who you are talking about. What is the e-mail? I am sure we all know her, some way or another.

Oh! Well, I was thinking it might be Cloudie, but no. That's Amy the Lurker. She's not actually on any of those sites, but she gives 'em out because her buddies own them. Marc for Vital, Jack for Once, Grey Cloud on Citrine, and Celtic on Facade. Wee. I'd tell her you joined if I knew her better. Unfortunately, I don't. So I can't.

I'm already a regular member on three other rp-sites (one of them also with vampires), so I'm not new to this.
I am however suffering from a bad case of writersblock... And I kinda hope to get rid of that by checking out as many rp-sites as I can find... :heh:

I own a couple message boards.. one has a HUGE ASS rp on it.. you can be anything from a mortal, witch, elf, vampire, whatever... lol also tons of other thigns on it. it's Magic United
the other is an RPG no vamps... but there is psychic powers involved.. pretty fun once I get members lol!!!!! it's 9 Psychic Countries

I found Vital the first time by my friend. She was a member and then was all like '*prod prod* Go join! Go join! *prod prod*' So I joined XD. But then, I became inactive because I had to reboot my computer, and I lost the URL...

I found it the second time by an add on Neopets XD ^^;; I think it was Nico who was advertising then.. I dunno ^^;

I just searched for vampire Rp on google.

Me now. I was browsing people's profiles (hehe) in my then dying rp site and I came across a link to someones RP Help site, with how to write up characters etc. It was interesting but not really worthwhile to me, but then in the corner of the screen was a link to Vital. And I joined.

Im freekin psychic... j/k I found it on neopets as well.

My friend, the one who turned me to Vampire Rping in the first place, found it and told me to join so she'd have a friend. She's since quit, but I'm still here. :)
