Title: Man's True Past
Description: :Panda's Kieran:

Aurore Miller - November 12, 2007 06:31 PM (GMT)
Predators. Beasts. Gnashing teeth and ferocious jaws. A true creature of power.

David stood in front of the Tyrannisaurus Rex exhibit at the Demaitre Cultural Society Gallery and Museum. The sun had gone down about an hour before and the maintainance workers had turned on the spot lights surrounding the 45 ft monster - illuminating the anceint bones.

And yet he still admired it. Even after consideration of it's peculiarly small arms and large head. Even the fact it didn't last as long as the human species, despite it's magnitude. The T-Rex was like a symbol for David.

It was the mascot for the demons he loved. He allowed predators much like the t-rex, they were simply named differently - vampires. He let them openly feed off of his 6'1", fit frame. It's teeth reminded him of the erotic pleasure that ensued the bite of those who were doing the feeding. And it's underdeveloped arms were an ironic reminder that, even as wonderful as he thought they were - vampires were always to be just at arms length. Because of what he was - a herbavore of modern times.

David, with his black suit, slightly open white collar shirt, and strapped boots - concealed very well what he was. To some he might appear tobe a young stock broker or businessman. But behind his brown eyes was something beyong the comprehension of either such poeple.

He was a blood pet. Note quite willing to make the next step into vampirism but always ready to throw himself to the mercy of those who would bleed him dry. he loved it. From the pain to the black out when they took too much. He loved it all. Not to mention he was most of the time handsomely rewarded for his services.

Whore. David thought to himself as he jerked his head to the left to get his black hair to fall back into a comfortable position. He smiled. Because not only did his services include his own willing blood. He would, upon request, become a vampire's personal pet and also collect for them a herrum of willing pets.

A pause in all thought. David's eyes flickered as he caught the scent. A scent only he could recognize among other humans because of the few traits he'd picked up from allowing vampire saliva and sometimes even blood to enter his body.

A vampire was in the museum. David put his hands in his pockets and leaned his weight on his left leg. He would stay calm. Not every vampire wanted a contract.

Pandora Lorrain - November 12, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
Kieran wondered what had taken him so long to come to the museum. He had always loved to read about history and this was like being part of an enormous history book. Anything he could ever want to know would be right here. Stuff from his own time frame and stuff from times before and after it, would be interesting to see, especially from a different area or space.

His eyes caught the gigantic reptiles that were in the dinosaur section and he walked directly towards them. His eyes stared up and the T-Rex, simple amazement on his face. He had read about the dinosaurs, but never had he seen the bones of one. Never had he thought them to be so big. Yes they always included measurements when they were describing them, but seeing was a completely different thing.

He breathed as he looked at them, pausing as a strange smell caught his nose. It smelled almost like a vampire, but not. It was confusing to him. He inhaled again and his nose could differentiate the smell. There were residue smells that came from vampires, yet the person was clearly mortal. He ignored it for the moment, but knew that eventually he would want to speak with the person. For now, he would simply enjoy the exhibit.

Aurore Miller - November 13, 2007 12:28 AM (GMT)
David looked around lazily and a smug smirk on his face. Where are you? He thought to himself in a sing-song inner voice. He spotted a young boy on the opposing side of the t-rex exhibit and smiled. Found ya. His brown eyes climbed back up the skeleton before them. There weren't a whole lot of people in the museum mainly just students taking last minutes notes for a history class and a few elderly who found great pleasure in simply walking the halls filled with still aging artifacts.

He kept eyeing the boy inconspicuously. It had been a long time since he'd seen a vampire so young before. He felt a small bubble of pity well up and pop in his chest. Poor kid. Of course, David had been decieved before and found that these 'children' vampires were sometimes the decided blood child of two vampires who were unable to have children - being undead and all that.

David was curious and wanted to confront the boy. But decided to wait instead. If the vampire came forward and introduced himself he would in turn be polite and do the same. But not yet. He wanted to see what this boy was up to. Maybe he was trying to hunt or maybe he was just wandering the past as David was. He would wait and see.

Pandora Lorrain - November 13, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
Kieran felt almost immediately the eyes on him. So this one could sense vampires without being one. That was interesting to know. Perhaps Kieran would have to search this one out. His eyes landed almost immediately on the man that stood on the other side of the dinosaur. He smiled and seemed to vanish into the crowd to reappear only seconds later next to the man.

He never took his eyes off the T-Rex. "so what brings you out at the museum so late in the day?" Unlike anyone else around around his age, he had no books or paper and seemed to have come alone. "I'm Kieran." His blue eyes were bright in his face and his long blond hair shone in the lights. The Scottish accent was prevalent and it came out when he said his name.

Aurore Miller - November 13, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
David watched the lad disappear then reappear next to him. It was a typical vampire thing to do. The way David saw it, if you have the power to move as quick as a shadow - then use it. "Hello, Kieran. My name is David."

David looked down at the boy. The contrast between them was astonishing. Kieran with his light features and David with his dark. They were opposites except in one aspect. They were both aware of each other and they both know that on some leve they were both in relation to vampirism, even if ever so slightly in David's case.

"I was just visiting the dead. And yourself?" David's voice was anything but sarcastic.

Pandora Lorrain - November 13, 2007 01:30 AM (GMT)
"Visiting the dead? i suppose that that would be one way to put it." He stared up at the bones and turned his head to see the other dinosaurs that were holed up in this general area. His eyes caught the ankylosaur and his eyes widen. He'd always wanted to see one of those and there wasn't any bones, but it was a representation of one. "It's a pleasure to meet you, David."

He had the attention span of a child, one of the many side effects. He wandered off to stare at the animal. It was a herbivore, with spikes covering his back and a club like tail. All that defense was to help to protect the herd. It made Kieran smile. He found them amazing. What would it be like to attack one of these and would a vampire be able to win? He glanced back at the T-Rex, he wouldn't be much of a challenge, but the ankylosaur would be interesting, very much so.

Aurore Miller - November 13, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
David smirked as he watched the child's interest change so suddenly like that of a human boy. "A wonder, weren't they?" He said making his way over to stand next to Kieran. "A true challenge it would have been to bring such a creature down."

He smiled at Kieran like an old friend. Then he stopped suddenly when the intercom flickered on and a females voice rang out through the museum. "The Museum closes in 20 minutes."

"Bummer." David turned back from facing the nearest intercom speaker and looked at the representation of the ankylosaurus. "Too bad they didn't live to see the most modern predator. Wouldn't you say?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 13, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
They were a wonder and Kieran was fascinated with the ankylosaurus. "This one would have been a challenge to bring down, a true challenge and I think that it would have been a fun time. You imagine chasing something like that." His eyes were alight with fun at that thought.

He glared at the intercom as it said they only have 20 minutes left. He frowned in thought that his eyes lit up. "Would you be up to staying here after hours?" He had leaned in so no one would hear what he had said. He would stay, it could be fun. The cameras were all fake so he had nothing to worry about. "So what do you say?"

Aurore Miller - November 13, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
He laughed at the image in his mind of attacking something of that magnitude. Sure, he had heightened senses compared to other humans but in truth he was not a vampire and would stand no chance. Kieran on the other hand, David was sure he could take down an ankylsaurus if he really wanted to.

David leaned forawrd and smiled, "Sure. What exhibit do you think we should choose to hide in?" He thought of all the different ones he'd seen so far and onviously the best place would be where they could hide amonst manicans if they were caught by the night gaurd.

Pandora Lorrain - November 13, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
Kieran tilted his head. "Don't know if I would be able to take him down though. All those spikes would hurt and the dinosaur wouldn't be alone. So I'd have more than one of my hands, though at nights they would be slower. Reptiles are faster in the sun. Besides I would have the advantage of surprising them. A small person like me, attacking a pack alone." He smiled at David, his eyes alight.

Kieran glanced around and leaned towards David. It will have to be somewhere where we can hide or kinda be a part of. Do you have any ideas?" Kieran hadn't been to the museum before, so he was a little bit at a loss of where to hide with a mortal. He could hide himself just fine.

Aurore Miller - November 14, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
He smiled almost fatherly as he watched Kieran's face light up at the thought of taking down a whole pack of the unsuspecting ankylsaurus'. "You'd be able to take 'em at night, easily."

David made a thoughtful face even though he already had an idea then pointed his finger at the ceiling in a triumphant way and looked back down at Kieran. "How about we head over to the 1950's exhibit. That way, if push comes to shove we can stand amongst the manicans and hide from the night gaurds." He winked.

The intercom went off again and the sweet lady's voice boomed through the museum, "10 minutes left until the museum closes for the evening. Please start to make your way to the exit at the front of the building."

David looked back to Kieran from the intercom and smiled with a gesture to the stairs that led two levels up from their position on the dinosaur level. "Shall we go then?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 14, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
Kieran was still somewhat doubtful, with someone of his skills it would be easier, but he wasn't quite sure. Now a T-Rex or Velociraptor, would be a lot more interesting, hunter against hunter. "Suppose that I could take him."

He nodded to heading towards the 1950's. It was an interesting time period and perhaps they could mix and mingle or hide anyways. "We'd have to stay there a while, until the cost was clear. I'm sure that we would fit in just fine." He was rushing up the stairs, they only had ten minutes and then the museum was theirs to explore in the half darkness. "Come one, hurry."

Aurore Miller - November 14, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
With a chuckle David followed Kieran up the steps of the museum. When they reached the 1950's, which was weird in itself, he found himself smiling again as he looked around at the manicans in strange clothes and the old artifacts like a disconnected gas pump and an old cafe table and chairs.

"Where shall we hide for 15 minutes?" His voice was cheery and he found the excitement unexpected. It had been awhile since he'd done something like this.

Pandora Lorrain - November 14, 2007 01:20 AM (GMT)
Kieran glanced around the room. They were interesting artifacts that was for sure. He looked around the room and tried looking for a place to hide themselves. He had never been good at hiding, well why hide when you could simply vanish.

He turned to David. "I can hide myself and you should find a place to hide. If the guard gets too close, I can distract him long enough to hide you. Unless you have a place big enough for both of us?" It would be fun to hide in the open. Despite his advanced mental age, there were times where he was a child. "So what do you think?"

Aurore Miller - November 14, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
David smiled and took another look around. Then he saw it. The perfect hiding place. It was out in the open and it was painfully funny. "There." He walked over to an old robin egg blue cadillac and smiled. Looking around for a moment he found a woman's hat with a little red bird on it and a man's reporter style hat.

"Sit in the passanger's seat and put this on. You're blonde hair curled under this will be perfect." David put the man's hat on and limberly jumped over the door and into the driver's side seat.

Laughing he looked at the different dials and the steering wheel with a broad smile. "This is wonderful. When the stupid night gaurd comes by he'll see us from behind and think we're manicans!" His brown eye twinkled that like of a child's.

Pandora Lorrain - November 14, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
Kieran wasn't sure he liked the idea of being a woman, but what the hell, it could be funny and he supposed it did make sense, he also looked younger. He took the hair tie out of his hair, letting his blond, wavy hair hang down. He took the hat and snatched it out of David's hand.

He dematerialized and and rematerialized by David's side. He played with his blond hair and replaced it over his shoulder, making it look somewhat more feminine, the wavy hair covering part of his clothes. "We are going to have to hope that he doesn't look at the areas all that closely." He paused and hesitated. "How do I look?"

Aurore Miller - November 14, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
"Feminin." David laughed quietly as he adjusted his jacket to make it look more like a manican - if that was even possible. "So we have about fi-"

He was cut off by the intercom again, "5 Minutes until the museum closes. Thank you for visiting Demaitre's Cultural Society Gallery and Museum. Have a safe evening."

"Well, talk about timing." He smirked as he eyed Kieran. "So. What shall we do first once the night gaurd moves past this section?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 14, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Kieran growled darkly and was ready to bolt. He didn't want to look feminine, he wanted to look like a man. Well he was supposed that it was better this way. His fifteen year old mind, refused to accept looking like a woman. One of his dreams since he was now stuck in the body of a teenager. He wanted to be a warrior, strong and powerful.

It seemed that what he wanted didn't matter, he needed to sit still for a few minutes until the guard came by, but that wouldn't be for a while. He would have to be extremely patient, he could do it, it was going to have to be like a challenge. "I guess we could simply visit the grounds and see everything in a different light."

Aurore Miller - November 14, 2007 04:17 PM (GMT)
David saw the frustration of Kieran's face as he mentioned that he appeared feminin. "Feminin in the most masculin way possible." He spoke as if he would to someone who'd just been teased about being homosexual or something. With an inward slap David cursed himself but moved on.

"Well..." He pondered for a moment and thought about the places he'd want to visit while they were held up in the museum. "Where would you want to go first? Back to the dinosaurs or to somewhere new?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 15, 2007 01:18 AM (GMT)
Kieran frowned at him. "Is that supposed to make me feel better? I hate being compared to a women. I like women just fine, but imagine looking young enough to actually look like one, day in and day out, for the rest of time. It's enough to drive anyone insane." He was grumpy, well you couldn't really blame him. He would be stuck like this forever, unless he decided to kill himself, which he wasn't going to do.

He shook his head. "Let's not go back to the dinosaurs, I've seen those already. There has to be something else more interesting to see in here. I want to see all the exhibits." He could deal being feminine for a few more minutes, then he would tie his hair up and return to looking masculine.

He straightened abruptly. "Someone's coming. So stare straight ahead and try not to move." Kieran shifted and stared straight ahead of him and seem to freeze in time. He didn't breathe and didn't even shift.

Aurore Miller - November 15, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
"I'm sorry. I'd forgotten that ones who appear that young really arent't. It's my human arogance. I apologi-" He got cut off by Kieran pointing out the gaurd coming and he stopped talking. Freezing as best he could he waited for the gaurd to pass.

The lights went out and a moment later a gaurd's light could be seen passing over the exhibit they were sitting in. It stopped for a moment on the back's of their heads and David felt the short well up of panic because he suddenly got an itch on his nose but ignored it. When the light passed over for a moment David's hand jolted up and rubbed his nose silently. But the light came back over them a second later and hovered there.

He could hear the footsteps of the gaurd's big boots as he walked towards the car.

David suddenly remembered that most vampires were telepathic, even though he wasn't he thought loud and clear. Do something. If he catches us I'll be put in jail and they'll put you in the sun! Sick images of policemen putting Kieran in the sun to try and convince him that he's not a vampire when in reality he would burn up violently in the UV rays of the sun.

The gaurd was all of two steps away from the car and David could feel himself panicing badly now. He had no idea why, he had a vampire with him who was as manican like as they could be but David also knew that the gaurd would be close enough in a few seconds to realize they weren't manicans.

Pandora Lorrain - November 15, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
Kieran didn't move, nor could he hear the telepathic message of the mortal seated next to him, but there was no need for that, he could hear his heart beat faster and the steps of the approaching guard. He had telekinesis and was going to put good use to it.

Something down the hall clattered and fell with a loud crash. The guard was distracted and turned his flashlight down towards the sound. Kieran didn't hesitate and grabbed David, making them both vanish. It was the only idea that he had but it was going to work.

He got both of them out of car and into another exhibit in the opposite direction. There they were visible again. "I think we are safe for now. We might see him again, but hopefully he'll stay out of our way and we'll stay out of his." He spoke softly as to not attract unwanted attention.

Aurore Miller - November 19, 2007 12:40 AM (GMT)
"That was incredible, Kieran." He huffed slightly in a whisper. For a moment there he thought for sure they would be caught by the fat night guard. "I'm sorry I'm a poor manican." He wore a smirk but a slightly self frustrated look glistened in his brown eyes that screamed that he was really disappointed with himself that he'd almost blown it for them both.

David smirked and shrugged, taking off the old hat and hanging it on the head of a stuffed black bear. "Well, where shall we go from here? Any specific exhibit first? We're going to visit them all of course but which first?" He looked friendly and calm now, "I like order."

Pandora Lorrain - November 19, 2007 02:34 AM (GMT)
Kieran waved a hand brushing the compliment away. If he had been mortal, he probably would have blushed a little, being pleased with himself. "I have powers and expect myself to use them, whether for good or bad. Besides they are practical." He removed the woman's hat and tossed it, making it float until it landed on the antler of a reindeer.

He shrugged his shoulder. "Doesn't matter to me, but it should be in the opposite direction of where the guard is going. We wouldn't want to get caught a second time, it would be harder to fool him. Besides for now, he's probably thinking that it was a trick of the light, let's keep it that way."

Aurore Miller - November 21, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
Another smirk plastered David's face, "How about..." He turned and looked ahead of them for something of interest and found one that he thought might hold some fun in it. The jungle exhibit. "There?"

He walked foward quietly with a smile and saw the different animals and the many fake trees. "We could play a game if you like." He thought of taking a couple of the fake guns from the poachers and their old safari hats and running around the exhibit quietly playing as they were hunting. "How 'bout it?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 21, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
Kieran's hands were tangled in his long, blond hair as he was placing it back into it's natural ponytail. Kieran rarely let his hair down, unless he was sleeping and that was it. Every other time he kept it up and out of his eyes. It was truly a hassle, one he would have to deal with for the rest of his life.

He glanced at the direction that was being pointed too and was thoughtful for a few seconds. He finished tyeing his hair. He turned around and gave a quick nod. "Let's go." He eyed David thoughtfully. "What did you have in mind for the game?" Kieran was interested. He loved to play games and if this game was fun, he could learn to love it.

Aurore Miller - November 21, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
David smirked as he usually did, "Well, think of it like safari hunters or other such things." He paused for a moment trying to think of a better way to put it, "Like cowboys and indians."

He walked ahead and picked up two hats and two guns. With a small laugh he walked to Kieran and handed him his two things as David put on a hat. "Shall we go hunting?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 22, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
Kieran pondered what he had said. Safari hunting? He had never hunted before, well not this way. He took the gun and the hat, glancing at them sceptically. Would he be able to do this? Would he be able to hunt like mortals did? It was a thought and interesting one.

He frowned at the hat and placed it on his head. It was ok, it was a perfect fit. That in itself was also interesting. "So what are we hunting exactly?" He looked around the area. "The stuffed animals?" He eyes flicked to the gun in his hands. "And does this thing actually work?" The gun fit in his hands as if it belonged. Maybe he should take something like this up. Didn't know what he could do with it, maybe it would useful.

Aurore Miller - November 22, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
David stopped smirking and looked at Kieran, "Well," He looked at the stuffed animals of the exhibit and frowned. "I guess you're right. Hunting dead animals does sound rather lame." He took the hat from his head and looked at his distantly.

He could remember when he'd been a child, playing such games with his friends was fun, only they had water or paintball guns and they 'hunted' each other not stuffed animals. David looked up at Kieran and remembered that he was not a child - but a vampire of many years of age stuck in time in the form of a child. "We do not have to play."

Pandora Lorrain - November 22, 2007 01:00 AM (GMT)
Kieran frowned and shook his head. "Oh no. I may be a fairly old vampire, but I'm a child at heart. I like playing games. I was simply curious as to what to do." An idea hit him suddenly. It seemed like a good idea, but he was wondering if David would want to go for it.

"I have an idea of a game and at the same time we could see some of the exhibits." He faced David and gave him a grin, showing fangs and all. "How about we play hid and go seek. You can hide and I can seek. Or we could do it the other way around, whatever you prefer." He loved to play hide and go seek, it had been while since he had and he wanted to play again. "Can we?"

Aurore Miller - November 22, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
David smiled brightly and put the hat back on, "Well, the way I see it we can both smell each other so I'd say we're pretty much at equal advantages."

He turned and made to walk away to count then stopped and looked back at Kieran. "So... I'll count first, then? One hundred sound okay?"

Pandora Lorrain - November 22, 2007 01:49 AM (GMT)
Kieran eyes lit up and he grinned. This was fun and he was ready. It had been so long since he had played any form of game and he wanted to play this now. It was going to be fun. He could simply feel it.

Kieran gave a startled look as David said that he wanted to count. He hadn't seen that one coming, well whatever. "Sure, hundred is more that enough." He shed the hat and let the gun drop to the floor. "Start counting, I'm going to go hide." He winked and vanished from sight. He probably wouldn't even have to leave the room and smelling him, well he might need to be a little more creative.

He fled into the adjoining room and paused. "wow" He had walked right into the Earth exhibit. The one that explained the forming of the Earth and the volcanoes. He was staring at the big Earth that was in front of him. He shrugged and could see straight ahead another opening. He paused and saw a volcano to his left. That was a little more like it.

He went to it and climbed the plastic volcano. He peered in it and grinned. It was empty and it was an awesome hiding place. He slipped inside and waited patiently.

Aurore Miller - November 23, 2007 12:55 AM (GMT)
David smiled as Kieran vanished and he began to count as he took off his own hat and gun and put them next to an austrich. When he reached 80 he trailed off and began to search - Kieran was avampire and no doubt 100 seconds was enough to bore him to death should he sit in one place too long. He went to the next room and saw it was the earth exhibit.

"Sick." He looked around and saw the different things about how little bacteria keep parts of the earth going and how lava is a major part of the ecosystem and all that jazz. Within a few moments he'd made his way to the volcano exhibit and found himself staring at it in awe.

It hit him. That oh so familiar scent. Kieran was close. Very close. David looked around with a smile on his face, "Come out come out where ever you are." He taunted and made his way past the exhibit until he realized the scent trail went cold past the volcano.

Then it dawned on him, the volcano doesn't really work and there has to be a light assistant to make it look cool for the youngins. He looked around for a switch and found a small red light switch labeled - volcano. Smirking he flipped the switch and watched as the light inside came on and the form of Kieran was as plain as day through the paper mache model.

"Found ya!"

Pandora Lorrain - November 23, 2007 01:21 AM (GMT)
Kieran was getting bored. He may have been a vampire, but his young mind and the energy of his body wanted to move around and run like a little kid. Obviously he had to be patient. Patience had never been one of his strengths, unless he waited for love, then it was another story.

He seemed to freeze as he heard steps, like he had in the car earlier. He didn't move and his clothes seem to stop all together. He listened but didn't budge at all. He was very quiet, hell he didn't even breathe. He heard him walk by and was about to give a sigh of relief when he was half-blinded by a red light.

"JESUS CHRIST!!!" He reappeared a foot away from DAvid. "I HAVE SENSITIVE EYES." Not the best way to start a night. He rubbed his eyes trying to help them clear faster. Oh they would in time, but dear God that was painful. He was fast healer, so at least it would clear up soon. Still it wasn't fun, he didn't like being half-blind, it troubled him. At least he had his other senses.

Aurore Miller - November 23, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
"Oh man!" He flicked the light back off, "I'm so sorry, Kieran! I forgot! I was going on a hunch that you'd be in there anyway. I wasn't even positive that you were there. I'm sorry!" He felt bad and reached over and touched the vampire's shoulder with a sigh.

"I didn't mean to, Kieran. How are your eyes?" David looked around to be sure that the night gaurd hadn't heard Kieran's yell and found the coast to be clear. He let out a silent 'phew'.

Pandora Lorrain - November 23, 2007 01:46 AM (GMT)
Kieran was still reeling from the shock of the light. His eyes were clearing and that was the good news. "I'll be okay, they are clearing. I thank God everyday for my fast healing ability. It is simply amazing."

He felt David's warm hand and smiled turning, seeing the outline of his face. "I over reacted, I apologize, I simply didn't see that one coming. I'll just ask one thing, don't turn on anymore lights, I'd appreciate it. It actually hurt a lot, but it's clearing." He could actually see, David's face was getting clearer by the second. "Ok now I actually see your face. It's a little fuzzy, but at least I see some definition." He was going to need something to eat. He would be ok, for maybe the rest of the night, but if he was hurt again, he would need a snack.

Aurore Miller - November 23, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
"Glad to hear you're healing. I won't turn anymore lights on, I promise." He looked at Kieran for a few moments and something from his memory pushed its way to the foreground of David's mind.

His last master had used David to have small feedings after a battle or if he was wounded by sunlight due to poor cealing of their haven. "Do you need a small drink, Kieran?" He felt no shame in asking for he was a blood pet, he had no owner as of the moment yes, so he felt no dishonor in asking if his services were required.

David's brown eyes were bright with a small anticipation, he loved to be fed from and if he could help to heal wounds he'd caused he was open to encourage healing through the sacrifice of his blood. "I don't mind."

Pandora Lorrain - November 23, 2007 02:25 AM (GMT)
Kieran nodded. "That's good enough for me. You promised and I thank you for it." All right so his eyes were actually seeing pretty much any thing. "It is nights like tonight that i love being a vampire. Alright, all good..." He paused and stared at the words that explained the properties of a volcano. "...or almost." They were still kinda fuzzy.

He looked startled at the offer. He didn't know quite what to say, he was quite surprised by the offer. "...Not now, if something hurts me again and i need a little pick me up, I'll tell you."

He gave David a bright smile, his happiness returning. "But what I want to do is continue playing. I'll count to one hundred and hopefully by that time my eyes will be completely clear and you will have had time to hide. What do you say?" He was ready to play now, feeling a lot better.

Aurore Miller - November 23, 2007 02:33 AM (GMT)
"Alright!" He smirked, "I"ll go hide then."

Turning David scampered off to hide. He found a good place in the ice age exhibit about 3 halls away from Kieran's counting place. He looked around and found many different things that caught his eye. There were beautiful creatures about - such as mamoths, polar bears and penguins. With a smile he looked around and found what he considered to be a good place.

He hunched down next to the leg of the mamoth between two cavemen who were 'hunting' the mamoth. From every angle David was all but invisible except from the far left. This would be fun.

Kieran simply stared as he almost flew away. That was fast. He shrugged his shoulders and simply stared at the place he had gone. He then leaned against a console and started to count. He waited patiently until he had reached the full one hundred. He pushed himself up right and strode directly into a hallway.

He paused and went right. It was easy when you had a super sensitive nose, he did try to use his nose a little less. It would be more unfair, but then again, it was part of who he was. He entered the ice age exhibit and simply frowned. This was interesting, it didn't feel cold, but it had been a cold time.

He stayed at the entrance and glanced around. He got into a crouched position and the pounced. He jumped cleanly across the room, landing on the mammoth. He made sure to keep his touch light as he glanced around the room, his eyes narrowing and searching. David was in here somewhere.

He frowned as nothing caught his eyes and then glanced down, tilting his head towards the hunters. He then grinned. "Found you!!!" If he could have, he would have tackled him to the ground. Instead he simply jumped down landing in front of him. "You could have given me a little more of a challenge. I hid in a volcano."
