Title: Night's Angel.
Kamaria - March 30, 2004 11:19 PM (GMT)
From the cold rain, a hooded figure slowly strolled into the subway system. Her eyes were fixed on the ground, and she seemed shy. Gradually. She took off her hood, running her long digits through beautiful, silky black hair. Gray eyes scanned the area, and she slowly walked and jumped down into the subway system, walking in the middle of the rails, into Tarepha country.
Gabriel - March 30, 2004 11:31 PM (GMT)
Gabriel walked in from the rain which was falling like a heaven had sprung a leak and was pour the water down like a wall. His hair was drenched as when he shook his head which shot water in all directions. He sighed heavily wishing he had worn a hat of something. He looked at all the mortals near him. He thought it was strange how all of them crowded into a tight place just to get somewhere else.
Kamaria - March 30, 2004 11:44 PM (GMT)
Kamaria looked back once, making eye contact with this stranger for mere moments. Gray eyes seemed to glow within the darkness, and she grinned, showing her fangs slightly. Then, she turned back and dissapeared into the darkness.
Gabriel - March 30, 2004 11:57 PM (GMT)
He scanned the subway system for immortals like himself. His powers had slowly been coming back since he awoken from the slumber. He was getting better at getting into people minds but he knew better then to get into an immortals mind it was two painful if they found out about it.
Jonah - March 31, 2004 12:09 AM (GMT)
A soft pattering of rubber soles and palms against the chilled concrete walls, was muffled by the roar of the civilized at the terminal. Something had tickled Jonah's senses, something..someone who he found most pleasing, her scent was enough to beckon him. He scuttled across the walls of the poorly lit subway tunnels, sticking close to the wedge of the wall and ceiling. The slight grin that had played on his pale lips faded as came another smell... Another vampire was amid as became the usual, though with Kamaria here as well it added complications.
He drew down to the cat walk, feet lighting upon the grid and taking on a fast paced stride in pursuit of what was his. She was soon discovered by his sense of smell and sight and he slowed, though making sure to always have her in his eyes grasp.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
"Who was that girl?" He sighed heavily looking around trying to find her again. Whoever she was he wanted to meet her. He walked off in the diretion that he saw her walk off. He's senses where overwhelmed by all the mortals in the small area. He did pick up a light trace of yet another vampire. He muttered softly. "This could get interesting."
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 12:39 AM (GMT)
Upon hearing the sound of footsteps behind her, she slowed down, but did not look back. She slipped her hood up again, and finally stopped underneath alight, leaning against the wall, head down, the hood sheiling her eyes.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)
He sped up his pace as he was looking for her. If there wasn't so many bloody mortals around this would be much easier but as it was he would just have to look the old fashion way. He hadn't even caught a glance of either of the vampires he sensed.
Jonah - March 31, 2004 12:55 AM (GMT)
Jonah's eyes averted to the vampire weaving through the crowd, a growk rattling in Jonah's throat. Kamaria was his... and only his for Jonah was never one to consider sharing, and the possibility of her with another was inconceivable... It was her that arose him and tamed him...brought out his worst and his best. Again his pace hastened, a merciless glare layed upon the area in the crowd where Gabriel was.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 12:59 AM (GMT)
Kamaria looked up, and spotted that one guy again. He seemed to be looking for someone. She stared at him softly, having no idea that Jonah was watching..
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:02 AM (GMT)
He sensed he was being watched by someone. Who though? He paused looking around trying to find who had been watching him. He was rather sure someone was watching him. After being sure he was safe he began walking once again.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:05 AM (GMT)
She lifted herself off the wall and walked through the crowed, getting closer to him. Her head was down, hiding her face as she approaches him, now a few feet infront of him.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:08 AM (GMT)
"Ok thats gotta be her." He sighed stopping sizing her up wondering who she was. It wasn't normal for another vampire to be so protective of a fellow vampire. His eyes then casted to the ground as he let out yet another sigh.
Jonah - March 31, 2004 01:12 AM (GMT)
Her movement caught his attention once more..she was headed right for him. Jonah scowled and forced himself into the push and pull of the crowd, briskly making his way to her. What was she doing? The question brought him to a hault...should he step back and observe? Should he see if she had been decieving him all along.. It'd explain her absences and it was understandable..he had tasted her before, her blood was a well aged wine, and just a glance over her body was enough to seduce.. Perhaps he wasn't enough for her.
His face contorted in fury though even so his next step was one that took him backwards into concealment among the people.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:14 AM (GMT)
She took a few more steps towards him, and lifted her head, gray eyes staring at him. "Looking for someone?" Her voice was soft, gentle, and she removed her hood.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
"Why yes I am. I was wondering who you were. I saw you earlier and I wanted to meet you. After all it's not often I meet others like myself." He looked at her once again. "Maybe you can tell me why I feel like someone else is watching me aswell?"
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:23 AM (GMT)
"My name is Kamaria. I suppose when you say others like myself, you mean..immortals? May I ask your name?" She paused for a few moments. "Someone's always watching you around here.."
Jonah - March 31, 2004 01:24 AM (GMT)
She was talking to him? Jonah clenched his fist, and turned sharply, knocking over a womans grocery bag from her arms, she squawked at him, insisting that today's youth had no respect for the elderly...Jonah could agree with her but it was the least of his worries right now. He scoffed at the woman and pushed by.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:27 AM (GMT)
"Yes That is what I ment. My name is Gabriel." He knew that the other watching was the immortal he sensed earlier. For some reason he felt as if he shouldn't be talking to her.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:29 AM (GMT)
"Nice to meet you, Gabriel. Is..something the matter? You seem on edge, slightly." She looked around quickly, sensing someone else.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:33 AM (GMT)
"Someone is watching and he seems angry that we are speaking. Do you know anyone who might be?" He looked back trying to fiqure out who it was. "It is nice speaking with you. I'm glad I ended finding you."
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:35 AM (GMT)
She smiled softly, then frowned slightly. "It might be Jonah..oh..I hope he's not angry with me.." She seemed frightend, nervous now.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:37 AM (GMT)
"I'm geussig he is mad. Well I do not wish to have you get into trouble with your freind. I do hope however that I get to speak with you again it's not often I am able to speak with people so it was a nice change to speak with you."
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:40 AM (GMT)
She sighed. "I understand how that is. I don't really talk to anyone, you're the first person beside Jonah, that I've talked with. Maybe we can get together sometime, for a drink." She grinned.
Jonah - March 31, 2004 01:40 AM (GMT)
Jonah threw himself back against a cold tile wall, his head tilted downward and coffee hair falling into his face, though not enough to curtain a jealous gaze. His brows furrowed as just like in the condemned building his doubts and memories haunted him.
Snake..how could she be doing this? Down here within his tomb she came to meet this man? Was this betrayal or perhaps they were just lightly conversating, meeting for a first? He frowned...What was she doing?
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:43 AM (GMT)
"Yes that would be nice. I hope to see you soon. I don't want to cause any trouble." He sighed taking a step backward worried she would get in trouble with her freind.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:44 AM (GMT)
She smiled slightly and waved a goodbye, slipping her hood up once more and taking off into the crowd, calling out his name. "Jonah! Jonah?" But her cries probably went unheard.
Gabriel - March 31, 2004 01:47 AM (GMT)
He waved goodbye and walked off towards the exit. He muttered. "Well atleast I met someone." He sighed looking for Jonah. "Well maybe I can find the other vampire.
Jonah - March 31, 2004 01:54 AM (GMT)
Her calls seemed to sielnce the roar of the living down to a buzz in his ears, and he contemplated whether to answer to them. He lifted his head and sauntered forward slowly and then wisped through the crowd towards Kam, to the living he'd seem no more than a draft, his movements unseen.
(brb phone)
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 01:56 AM (GMT)
She made her way through the crowd, searching and searching for him. Then, near the walls, she spots him. "Jonah!" She yells, not sure if he heard her, so she begins pushing her way through the people faster.
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 02:51 AM (GMT)
She took a step back, and bumped into someone, them swearing at her. She ignored them, and looked at Jonah. "What..what was what?"
Jonah - March 31, 2004 02:57 AM (GMT)
Jonah scoffed and looked away from her, shaking his head slightly and biting his lip. After a moment he turned to look at her once more. "Don't pretend Kamaria..."
He groaned and rubbed the back of his neck, unsure of what to think of what he had seen. Should he let it go? Was it something to be threatened by?
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
She sighed, looking down. "You mean..Gabriel? Oh Jonah..I don't even know him..I just met him.." She kept her head down, almost shamefully, but inside was inner turmoil. She was angry, depressed, and worried..
Jonah - March 31, 2004 03:08 AM (GMT)
Jonah nodded, looking down to the ground, he had to believe her yet there were still so many doubts and questions....let them go? What had happened to him, a while ago he wouldn't even have cared, but now what was this? She was turning him soft and it was almost disgusting, but for her he welcomed it.
He nodded again and looked up, taking a moment to collect himself and bannish the negative thoughts before taping her beneath the chin with a bent finger. Jonah pshed out a smirk for her, hopefully it'd be good enough, but just incase maybe he should deliver it with a few words. "...I love you.."
Kamaria - March 31, 2004 04:21 AM (GMT)
She smiled softly, and threw her arms around him. So glad that he wasn't mad at her. She pulled back and looked deep into his eyes, her glowing with passion and love. Kam ran her fingers through his hair, and kissed his cheek.
Jonah - April 12, 2004 01:54 PM (GMT)
His arms embraced her gently, as if to hold her too tightly would only send her away yet again. Times like these were enjoyable but as much as his wrotting heart loved her, it was times like these that also made him nautious. This wasn't something hiskind was known for..would someone fear a cotton filled stuffed bear? He certainly felt like that now, a softy only for cuddling. Internally he sneered but it subsided and he smiled slightly, uneasy eyes shifting a gaze from side to side before kissing her cheek. His thoughts taunted him for it.
Kamaria - April 12, 2004 02:00 PM (GMT)
As happy as she was at the moment, something seemed wrong. She stepped back a few paces, and looked into his eyes. "Jonah..you alright?" She frowned, tilting her head a slight bit. Something was wrong. Was it her? Was he holding a grudge because she talked to that male? Or was it something else?
Jonah - April 12, 2004 02:11 PM (GMT)
He rubbed his chin lightly and shook his head, pale green eyes downcasted. "No, just peachy, don't worry 'bout it, doll." His gaze flitted up to her pale serene face, fists storing themselves into his pockets, his right hand slightly grazing the cold face of his petite camera. He needed to vent..he felt almost as if the deteriorating flesh of his heart was reviving iself, healing if you may. Though he knew it was only an illusion in his mind, he hated it so, the cold of death was so much more enjoyable and rewarding then the blistering heat of life.
(he is so utterly discombobulated and an ultimate jack ass)
Kamaria - April 12, 2004 02:20 PM (GMT)
She knew something was wrong. And it had to deal with her, didn't it? Perhaps. Perhaps not. "If you say so, Jonah.." Indeed, she was worried. But she knew he would work it out somehow. Hopefully it did not involve leaving her in any way..
Jonah - April 12, 2004 02:32 PM (GMT)
Jonah was silent and only offer a meek smirk and a nod, he wasn't making sense..too much stress andconfusion and suspicion. He withdrew his left hand, offering it to her with a quirk of his head. "Should we run along? I grow tired of the cattle." The humans swarmed everywhere, unaware of the two killers amongst them, and happy in their ignorance of that. To them, everything was a sugar coated world that would deliver them to their God when they died, pitiful.
