Caylex sat on the swings quietly, the headphones around his throat playing a piano solo called Blue. For once he was dressed like a boy, his hair tied back. He walked backwith the swing then sat down and let go, swinging himself high.

Caylex sighs softly and pumps his legs, flying high. He launchs himself off the swing when it reachs the top and lands on his feet, stumbling a bit. He ends up on his knees and just sits like that, staring down at the ground below him.

"You just bored, or is something wrong?" A familiar voice said from back behind the swings, bare feet making their way over to the figure sitting ahead, sandles in hand. Mai's hair was wavy, down as usual, her in a deep blue shirt and skirt that reached her ankles; it being flowy. Flowy was always good ^^.

Caylex smiles and laughs softly. "I'm all right." He crawls his way back onto the swing and looks at Mai, brushing the sand off his trousers. "I'm always all right." He laughs softly. "How are you Mai?"

Mai smiled, laughing softly also. "That's good to know. I'm fine, really. Another late night, and I'm bored, so I came outside," she replied with a shrug. "Park is a great place to walk... Well, better than the street," she added, letting the sandles fall from her hands as she took a seat on a swing also.

Caylex nods. "It is." He licks his dry lips gently and yawns softly, resting his head the chains and looking over at Mai. "How is life treating you Mai?"

Mia shrugged. "Same old, same old... No job, bumming money off my parents... All that fun stuff," she replied with a sigh, kicking her legs softly, making her swing a bit, the bottom of her skirt dragging along the ground. "And what about you?Anything interesting?"

"Nope." He smiles. "Nothing interesting any more." He grins and restarts the piano solo called Blue.

Mai cocked her head to the side a bit. "Not anymore? What do you mean? Did you quit... You know... That?" she questioned.

Caylex nods happily and bounces happily on the swing, giggling. "I did. And I couldn't feel better." He laughs softly.

Mai smiled. "That's wonderful, Caylex," she said with a broad smile. "I'm glad for you... You shouldn't do things that don't make you happy," she added with a nod, swinging a bit more. "Do you feel... More free?"

Caylex nods and laughs. "Oddly, yes." He smiles ahppily.

Mai smiled still. "That's wonderful, too," She replied, looking out across the park for a moment before back to Caylex. "What matters is that you feel better, and you obviously do, so it's all good," she added with a small nod, then a soft laugh, "I probably sound so lame."

Caylex laughs. "No. You sound smart." He smiles and swings a little bit, yawning softly

Mai smiled, laughing softly again. "Do I really? That's a change- No, just kidding, just kidding. I'm not your typical blonde," she replied, her swinging slowing down a bit.

Caylex giggles and yawns softly. "It came to an end at foot binding." He giggless and puts one leg across his leg, looking at his shoe.

Mai giggled a bit too. "Foot binding? How interesting," she replied, though wasn't sure if that was something she would try. "So things going smoothly now? Have you gotten a new job?"

Caylex laughs. "Me, actually work for a living?" He giggles and scratchs a small cut on the top of his hand open. "No. I don't need a job at this moment. I have enough money to hold me over for a while." He smiles happily and sucks gently on the now bleeding cut.
