Thanatos sauntered down the well lit street, wind billowing around him like an invisible stalker. It teased at his jacket, which fluttered in the gusts. He walked a path of determination, with the scury of cars down the highway past, creating the wind that revealed his underclothing.

The bustle of cars slowed, as well did the dance of his jacket, the wild flapping ceased after a few moments, only swaying from the motion of his legs.

The cars slowed even more, and Thanatos took the opportunity to take flight. He leaped into the air, landing gently atop the roof of the nearest building.

Up higher, the wind was much more violent, as his jacket swung in the breeze. His gaze, as well as his feet, led him to the edge. His eyes peared over the bricks and mortar to the streets below, the arteries of the city.

What mortal will have the pleasure to meet their end at my hand this evening...

Thanatos climbed to a crouching position on the ledge out of instinct as he thought about his need to feast that night. He sat there, looking down at the quiet streets. His mind lost on anything but the scanning of a target.

There was a light slap of bare feet against damp tiling, as the strange form of Camille Noire leapt from the neighbouring building and onto the roof of Thanato's building, her horrific false wings helping her to glide across and perform a graceful landing. From behind Thanato, she stood and observed him silently with large blank eyes that showed no noticable interest, though she continued to watch him nonetheless...
