Aloyus sits in a corner table, hazel eyes scanning the crowd for a meal. His dark hair hangs freely to his shoulders, almost seeming to blend into his leather jacket. As he searches the crowd, his gaze hesitate briefly on a few of the humans on occasion. The music picks up and he looks up at the singer. After a moment, he smiles, having decided on his meal for the night.

(OOC: Cat will be coming, but anyone else is free to come as well)

Catherine had just started her preformance and was loving it. It was her second time to preform at the Tequila, and she was just as excited as the first time. She stared out at the crowd, recognizing a few of the people who had been there at her first preformance.

Erika had sat down in the bar for a while now, watching Catherine. She was better than before it seemed, probably because she was a bit happier. Erika could tell. She leaned back in her seat, holding a drink in both hands in her lap. She hadn't touched it since she had been there.

Aloyus clapped when she finished the song, still watching her intently. He figured he have an easy enough time luring her outside, and then he would have his fun. As he watched her, he contemplated whether or not he would let this one live.

Catherine went through her songs flawlessly, finishing her preformance after about an hour and a half. She got down of the stage and walked over to Erika with a smile. "What did you think? Did I do well?" Judging from the smile on her face, Erika probably could tell Cat shove her head up a horses rear end and she wouldn't care.

"You sounded wonderful... better than when you were unhappy. I could listen to that forever. I certainly wish that I could sing as well as you."

She shrugged, wondering if people would notice that Catherine was coming down to talk to her, just someone from the crowd.

He watches Catherine, waiting for her to glance his way. Once they made eye contact, he knew she would be unable to look away. Then he would lure her outside, and he would feed. A smirk crossed his face briefly as he watched her talk to another.

"Thank you." She glanced around the room at the other people, looking for there reactions to her songs. After a brief moment her eyes rest on a man not to far away. She goes silent as she stares at his eyes, finding herself unable to look away, not even realizing as she started to walk over to him.

"Catherine... where are you going...?"

Erika's eyes watched her as she walked, and she traced along the path that she looked, until she saw the man sitting in the corner. But he wasn't a man, was he? He was just like her. She could smell it, or.. sense it, like Nicodemus had told her. Erika sighed. Apparently Catherine attracted many vampires to her.

Catherine didn't hear Erika anymore, her attention only on the man's eyes. She couldn't understand why she was walking over there, she just felt like she had to. She could hardly comprehend what was going on, her thoughts fairly blank.

Erika stood up, walking slowly behind Catherine. She herself had the same power of mesmerization, and according to Nicodemus she could use her voice if she wanted. She hadn't done it before... but now was a good time to try.

"Catherine. I asked you where you were going. Do not ignore me."

She said it with strange tone, one of which that most of the people around them heard, and caused them to stare at her.

Catherine stopped and shook her head as though trying to clear the confusion. "Huh?" She turned towards Erika, "Uh... I'm not sure where I was going... I just felt like I needed to walk over there." She starts to shrug it off, then thinks on it a moment, almost glanceing back at the man again as she started to realize what had been happening.

He glared at Erika, not likeing the interference when he was getting dinner. He stood slowly. He saw Cat turn back towards him, and smiled slightly. Her curiousity was working to his advantage.

"Catherine, I think it's time to go. Aren't you tired after that performance?"

Erika glared right back at Aloyus, as if to tell him that Catherine was 'hers'. Not his. She grabbed Catherine's shoulder, smiling a bit.

"You should look at me when I am talking to you. What's the matter?"

"You have a beautiful singing voice, Catherine? Isn't that the name they introduced you by?" He looked at Catherine, ignoring Erika's glare. He had made up his mind, selected his prey. He wasn't going to give her up that easily.

"Yeah, my name is Catherine. You liked the preformance? Oh and nothing's the... matter... Erika..." She goes silent as she turns back to look at Aloyus, having wanted to hear his opinion of her preformance. However, when she looked at him, she forgot completely why she was going to talk to him. In fact, she pretty much forgot anything she was thinking about. She just stared at him.

"Certainly... if you say so."

Erika simply sighed, and stood behind Catherine. Obviously this would not end in the way that she had hoped. Oh well... She did not know Catherine all that well, anyways. Perhaps she could make a deal with this other vampire. But perhaps, she could not. Either way, she would have to stay with Catherine to keep her alive.

"It's a beautiful night, perhaps you would like to go for a walk with me Catherine." He more or less commanded the last part. He looked up at Erika briefly, clearly indicating he wanted her to leave him, and his prey, alone. He took Catherine by the hand and proceeded to lead her towards the door.

{ooC: I think I'll just leave this one... not only do I don't think I belong, but I don't think I'm helping to either of your stories.}

Erika decided to give up. It wasn't worth it. Even though Catherine had been very nice to her, she knew that the other vampire would not give up. And Erika was not strong enough anyways. She simply shook her head, sitting back down at the table she had been sitting at, and took her drink in both hands, letting her fingers dance along the edge of the glass.

(ooc: Leaving? Ut oh... now my bro's gonna try to kill me... Sure your helping! You're keeping him from killing me! Distract him! I'll get out my secret weapon! Hairspray and a lighter! :D)

Catherine followed him outside, just barely realizing what was happening. She realized he was a vampire, and she wasn't sure if he would be a nice as Erika and leave her alive. She was glad she had managed to keep from dropping her purse, though she couldn't remember why she had wanted to keep ahold of it. She noticed, barely, when Erika went back to the table and got really worried. Erika had broken this 'bespelling' before, maybe she could again.

Erika fought with herself for a moment about helping Catherine. Her conscience was screaming at her to get up and help her, but she didn't know what she could do. After a few minutes, she finally got up slowly, donning her coat. It wouldn't hurt to try and help Catherine.

Walking out the door, she looked around until she saw the two. Using the same voice as she had before, she smiled and yelled over to Catherine.

"Catherine? I forgot to ask you... do you still want me to stay with you tonight? Or are you going... with him....?"

Aloyus rolled his eyes when he heard Erika. He turned towards her angrily, "Can't you tell when someone wants you to bug off? Incase you can't tell, I'm busy here."

"Excuse me... but she was talking to me before you butted in. I think it is the other way around. You need to keep your nose out of our business. I know what you are planning on doing. And no, I am not going to allow it. Get over it."

She tilted her head, annoyed at the other vampire now. He had no regard for life, apparently, and had not one bit of sense when it came to 'minding his business'.

"If you'll remember correctly, like I said, Catherine was speaking to me when you 'drew her' away. Find someone else."

Catherine smiled when Erika spoke, glad that not only was her attention more directed at Erika, but the vampire was distracted too. She remembered why she had wanted to have her purse with her. She reached in and pulled out a bottle of hairspray and a lighter. She held up the hairspray and lit the lighter, holding the hairspray aimed at Aloyus. She looked to the side a bit, avoiding eyecontact. "Thanks Erika, I was scared that you wouldn't come back."

Aloyus's eyes went wide when he looked at Cat's makeshift flamethrower. "I take it she's yours? My mistake, one I won't make again." He takes a step back, looking at the lighter and hairspray. Fire and him don't mix.

"It was a simple mistake. There is no need for violence, Catherine. I won't allow him to take you anywhere."

Erika blinked a few times, looking from Cat to the other vampire.

"It is not difficult to find prey in this type of place, love. Just keep away from her."

"A decision like that requires alot of thought, not just desiding on a whim. After all, its a fairly perminant choice. And I'm not sure if that's what I will want thirty, forty, fifty years from now." She shrugs, remembering how Joseph had offered to turn her into a vampire less than a week before he had been slain.

He didn't really care if his prey belonged to someone else, it was the flamethrower that put him on edge. He muttered something under his breath then headed back indoors.

She put her hairspray and lighter away, letting out a breath she had been holding. "Thanks Erika." She smiled at Erika and watched as Aloyus walked off.

"Hmph."

Erika did not like to be ignored, but she really couldn't help that.

"Are you alright, Catherine? Did he do anything to you before I came outside?"

She touches her neck, finding the scarf still in place. "I don't think so... I don't remember. I was really out of it... all I remember was being afraid."

"Well, you're fine now. Just stick with me, and you will be fine."

Erika sighed, wondering something to herself.

"If you do not wish to be harmed, why do you not just ask me to turn you? It is simple enough."

"A decision that I was not allowed to make...."

She nodded, agreeing.

"But... you would be able to protect yourself better... you would not be so vulnerable as you are now. Does that not sound wonderful? Immortality is also one of the better sides of this life.

"It's not that it doesnt' sound great and all, but... I just don't know." She sighs, "Nothing is perfect, there's always a catch, always a regret."

"I suppose it is easy for me to say such things, for I have no chance to decide, no chance to regret. But if you ever wish to... ask me. I will be happy to help you."

She closed her eyes, as if she had just saved the world.

"I will think about it. So, shall we head home or maybe do something else? The night is still fairly young."

"Whatever you prefer. Regardless of what you do, I will stay out tonight. Whether or not you come with me, is your choice. I need to walk some more... stretch my legs out."

She smiled, shaking her head out of some sort of instinct. Her hair waved gently, all the way down to her mid back. People had told her she should cut it. But she liked it.

"I was thinking about going to the movies. Maybe there'll be something interesting playing." She shrugged, "It's too dull to stay at home."

"Lead the way then. A movie does not sound so bad right now. I shall go with you, if you want me to."

She shrugged.

"And being at your home is quite dull, unless you are sleeping. At least to me. Sorry."

"It wouldn't be so boring if I had things to do like a computer or tv or something. I'd love if you'd come to the movies... My treat!" She grinned broadly, pulling some cash out of her purse.
