Blaze leant against the wall as student after student walked past, the occasional jock giving her a once over and deciding that the ridicule from his 'posse' wouldn't be worth it.
She had wondered round the halls for almost an hour not sure what she was looking for, but something had attracted her to this place full of people. Though the sun had set the building was still alive for it was Parents night.

So absorbed she was in her thoughts that Blaze didn't hear him coming. She jumped as she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder and twisted round intending to break his or her arms and became face to face with the principle, a bulky man with a large moustache.
"Who are you young lady?" he boomed
"I...er...I" she stammered
"Do you have a name?" Blaze regained her composure and retorted
"Of course i have a name, but you do not need to hear it and get your hand off me!!" He recoiled slightly and was gearing up to bestow the full force of his wrath on her when Blaze's patience ran out. She sucker punched him and felt his jaw break in several places. He fell to the ground and slid accross the corridoor and did not get up.
Students and parents stopped and looked at her in silence, struggling to take in what had just transpired. She turned on her heel and strode up the hall, her footsteps still the only noise.

After taking refuge in the darkened library, she deliberated on her next course of action. When the door creaked open...

Joe didn't know why he was at the high school. He was looking around there for something, but he didn't know what or who. He felt the presence of another immortal nearby and turned to see her punch some guy in the jaw. Everyone stopped dead and looked at the girl. He felt the need to keep an eye on this one. He quietly followed her to the library and slowly opened the door. It creaked quite loudly and he figured he'd might as well stop trying to hide, she probably knew he was there anyway.

"Please don't be alarmed." He walked in slowly showing that he didn't mean any aggression. Now that he was closer to her he felt she was older than him. He was wearing the black t-shirt his lover, Raymond, bought him. He didn't have his usual leather jacket with him, but he wore a pair of black jeans. He thought he looked like a goth, but without the piercings and crazy hair style. "That was a pretty good sucker punch." He leaned against the wall of the library looking at the vampiress.
