Title: Trying To Forget
Description: But knowing you never can...

Vixey - November 8, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
It was just a few hours or so after sun down, ALex had awaken to horible memories as usual, fearing that tonight she would succum to the demon within her. But no, her memories had not been of nights long ago, they had been of just last night. She had killed again not twenty four hours ago. Which explained why her complection was fair as it was. This was how she looked alife, not drawn, gaunt and pale, but youthful, full of vibrance and life.

She thought of her victims again, one had been a man, strong healthy and in his prime. Her other victims that night were young couple who had been coming from a nice date, only about her age when she had died. The bodies of all three, left to rot in the allies then had died in, victims of apparent muggings.

It was a wonder Alexandra Leona Renald didn't bring the entire city in to knowladge of the vampiric race by herself.

She needed to forget, but nothing would work. She had been here since she awoke, and two hours later and countless drinks, she could still remember every little detail as she sat at the end of the bar, her usual black pants, but this time a khaki baby-doll teeshirt with a silver KISS logo written across the chest.

"Screwdriver this time please..." She said quietly.

"You gonna be able to pay for all this love?" Said the man with a slightly british accent.

"Of course. I wouldn't order if I couldn't pay." She said simply as she pulled out a wallet. Good thing about grown men and couples on a date. They always had cash.

"Alright babes. You ain't driving though right?"

Why did he care? If she did she might kill herself. Hopefully. "Nah, don't need a car. Live just a few blocks away. Besides, I'm not even tipsy." She shrugged. The first part had been a lie, she had no real place to stay. No one would take her in. Not a murderer. "But I might just take a room for the night if you have one..." She wouldn't use it till dawn, but oh well.

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
Joseph found himself wandering the streets of Demaitre for what seemed like the eightieth time since he moved into the city. He was wearing a black System of a Down t-shirt, blue jeans, and his favorite black leather jacket. There were a lot of places to explore, but one specific building caught his eye. The sign King's Brewery: Tavern & Inn hung above the door of the bar. Joseph opened the door and felt a familiar feeling from the girl wearing the KISS t-shirt standing at the bar talking to the bartender. It had to be Leona, it's been a week since he saw her, but he couldn't forget the feelings he felt for her.

Joseph made his way to the bar and took a seat on the stool right next to Leona.

"Bartender I'll have your best beer and I'll take care of the lady." Joseph said as he looked into Leona's eyes. "Well it's good to see a familiar face around here." Joseph gave Leona a wink.

Vixey - November 8, 2005 02:50 AM (GMT)
She didn't even bother to turn as she felt him enter. There was no need, he knew she was here she knew he was there. Nothing else needed to be done. She had thought about leaving as he entered, now was just not a good time. His cheerfulness... She wanted to bleed him dry, rip his thorat out.

What? No she didn't.

She sighed and hung her head, her bangs falling into her face slightly because they were just to shor to be pulled half back in the clip Alex was using.

She looked over as he offered to pay. "No Joe... I'm good." She said quietly. "Honest."

She looked away sharply as he gave her a wink. He couldn't still like her after seeing what she really was! It was impossible. She wouldn't alow it. She would just end up hurting him and she had hurt too many people already.

"Joe..." She said quietly, but still loud enough for the quiet pub. "Tonight's just... not a good night alright..." She sighed. "I did it again last night..." She wasn't going to say it out loud, there were still people around, but he woudl know what she ment.

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 03:04 AM (GMT)
Joseph nodded when Alex said she was alright. He immediately regretted winking at her, but it couldn't be helped. Her complexion looked normal, and he knew why. Joseph listened as Alex said she did it again.

Joseph nodded when Alex said she did it again. The Amman would clean it up. It wasn't smart to dwell too much on this. "Hmm, it's been a week since I saw you. You forgot your shirt at my place."

"So what have you been doing this past week? Not even a word from you in the past week. I know you want to be by yourself and everything, but I just worry about you."

Vixey - November 8, 2005 03:27 AM (GMT)
"It's a public place enough..." She shrugged as she sipped at the Vodka and orange juice. If he started to bother her, she could leave. It wouldn't bother her, Hell if she bothered him she could leave, or he could leave. Whatever.

She couldn't help but raise her eyebrow as he said she was lying if she said she didn't. "You know what Joe. You don't know shit about me. Don't even pretend you do. You don't even know what I've been through alright. So you had your wife die." Her voice drop significantly. "At least you weren't the one who killed her. It wasn't her blood on your hands. You don't have the stains of hundreds of innocent people on your soul." She growled.

Turning back to her drink in silence she staired stolidly forward. "I don't care because if I do, something bad is gonna happen Joe. So I've figured out I'm better off in the long run not caring. Who knows, it might not be for much longer anyway. I can't hold on anymore..." She shook her head.

She could feel it, her humanity, her love, her everything, just slipping away in to darkness. Colors, scents, tastes. Everything was becoming dull now. The Screwdriver didn't taste like it used to... Well, the flavor was the same... But there was no kick anymore. No passion.

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 04:01 AM (GMT)
Joseph nodded as Alex spoke. Joseph couldn't help but feel hurt by her. Joseph took another sip of his beer. Damn this stubborn girl. If he couldn't get it out of her then he would drop it.

Joseph decided to change the subject. "What have you been doing for the past week? I've met a lot of different people since you left." And Joseph wasn't lying, the other night he met Rowen an ancient vampire.

"I couldn't help but notice how many people have overcome the same problem you have." Joseph let a bit of contempt slip into his voice. He brushed his hand against the spot where Leona bit him the night they made love. He heard from somewhere that they're called ghost wounds. They might be gone but he could still feel it.

Vixey - November 8, 2005 04:41 AM (GMT)
"Good for you..." She said absently. She couldn't help but smirk. No one else was able to hurt him? Well she just had apparently.

"I've just been hiding myself. Keeping a low profile and hoping I don't give away everything." Yep, those had been her days recently. Tossing back the drink and emptying the glass she wiped her mouth withthe back of her hand. "Pity only one of my addictions has any real effect left...." She muttered.

She indicated to the tender to bring her a double.

"Don't fool youself kid." She muttered, pushing off the empty glass. "No one has the same problem I have. Those who have... They've all gone elsewhere. Either by sunlight, fire or with some other help."

The tender brough her the drink and she nodded a thanks. "At least that's what Morrigan told me. It's not normal... Having to hold everything back, letting it build until it you can't control it." She began the next drink. "I can't deal with everything anymore..." She brushed her bangs from her eyes. Her voice wasn't sad, just... Matter of fact.

Seeing the faces of her victims day after day in nightmares. Living in fear of her next kills and the horror they would bring.

"We bring you next a tragidy that struck two families today in the near by city of Demaitre." Came a voice from across the room. Alex's head swivled over to see the television, her eyes widening. No, it couldn't be. The studio reporter was replaced by a woman who was at the entracne of a semi familliar allieway.

"We bring you live from the scene, footage of the end of a long search for twenty year old Nathen Garrison and his ninteen year old fiance Renee Wilburn." The female reporter said. "They were found in this side ally just hours ago after being reported as missing this morning. In a gruesom attack that could have only been the work of a brutal gang, the bodies were found in a most peculiar manner. Police are searching for more evidence as to the murderer and the motive, but we have no further information at this time." The Repoter continued before cutting back to the station. "Thank you Pam. In other news today..." Alex turned away, had she been human she would have thrown up. She could feel her stomach heaving, disgusted with herself.

But her thoughts did not stay long. Oh God! Would the other vampired know? COuld they find out it was her? Morrigan would probably know.

She couldn't live with this anymore. She couldn't live as a murderer, so she couldn't live at all. She woudl face the sun come morning... Take a room, fall asleep, let nature work it's course. "I can't do this anymore Joe..." She whispered as she gripped the glass tightly.

Aspen Raen - November 8, 2005 04:53 AM (GMT)
Aspen brought a cold gust of wind in with her as she entered the bar. A few glances turned her way and she averted her eyes. They lost interest. She didn't have time for anymore men. She was already confused about Bliss and Jonas...and she realized she couldn't remember what happened the night before. Just some shadows of a memory, a man with white hair and skin almost sheer. Who he was she didn't know. She didn't even know where she had been...

She pulled her her coat tighter around her. She had been cold and light-headed all day. Her skin was even more pale then ever and the rosiness in her cheeks had faded to where it was barely noticeable. Her usually bright green eyes were faded. She definately needed some rest, that was evidant, but once again she found herself unable to sleep.

She went and sat at the bar, trying to resist laying her head in her arms. She didn't know why she had come here, not her scene, as she had thought the other times she had gone to bars, but she wanted a drink...to forget what she already could not remember.

She didn't even notice Leona talking to a man a few seats away. Her eyes stayed facing forward. She didn't have the energy to look around. She felt as if she had been drained...

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 05:03 AM (GMT)
Joseph wasn't quite surprised by the news. When that beast she didn't think of cleaning up after herself. Fuck with each kill she became worse.

"Bartender I'd like to rent out a room for the night." Joseph came as close as he could to Leona. "You're coming with me." He whispered taking the key from the bartender. He nodded thanks to the bartender, as the bartender made a comment about the massacre.

He made his way up to the room. God damn it!! Joseph knew that the vampire heirarches knew that it was Leona. He had to find a way to hide her, but how? As if his life wasn't hard enough without Leona.

The room wasn't impressive, it had one bed, an armoirre, and a table with two chairs. It wasn't much better than his bachelor pad but it would do for now.

Vixey - November 8, 2005 05:16 AM (GMT)
Like hell she was coming. She gave a defiant snort as he left. She would stay down here as long as she pleased, and maybe longer.

He was worried. She could tell. Was someone after her already? So be it.

"Orrible thing that is ain't it?" The bartender said as he shook his head, cleaing out a dirty glass.

"Yeah." Leona nodded. "I can't imagin how someone could do that to those two..." She murmured. How could she let herself do something like that?

Her head hung with a sigh before she ooked back up, taking a shot of her drink. She noticed a new presence as she looked around, a young woman out as if in a daze. It was the mortal who had tempted her at the masquerade.

Aspen.... That was her name.

"Well now seems as if someone tangled with someone they aught not have." She said with a forced smile, moving over the few stools to sit next to the young woman, girl compaired to her. "You okay kid?"

Aspen Raen - November 8, 2005 05:24 AM (GMT)
Aspen looked up with a start as she heard Leona's voice suddenly next to her. Jeez, and jumpy too.

She shrugged in response, wondering why Leo was even bothering to talk to her. It seemed as though Aspen had hurt her last time they had "met."

"Yeah, you could say that." She shrugged. "I'm okay I guess. Just haven't gotten to rest up since the other night...of course I can't remember what happened then either so..."

She tried to think, red eyes, red eyes...that was all she could see of him. His face was a mystery to her. Oh, God, what had she gotten herself into? She closed her eyes. How had she let it get to her. So what? Bliss hadn't told her. She knew he had wanted to...she saw it in his eyes. He couldn't though. Well, why the hell not? She took a deep breath in, trying to calm her nerves. She couldn't use what was left of her energy on being angry. She would see Bliss soon, she knew. They could work it out then.

"Hey, can I get something to drink over here?" She wasn't trying to be rude. She just wasn't herself.

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 05:27 AM (GMT)
Joseph realized Leona didn't follow her. He saw her talking to a girl, she seemed somewhat familiar. Then he remembered he saw the girl at the Masquerade walking out with the vampire. Joseph walked back down towards the bar. He heard Leona say something about the girl not looking that good, and she was right. The girl was pale as a ghost plus she seemed quite lethargic at the time. Joseph took a seat two seats away from the two girls. Why did they have to be so stubborn?

"Bartender, give me a shot of your hardest liquor. Are you alright?" This being directed at Aspen.

Aspen Raen - November 8, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)
Aspen turned to look at the man. She didn't know who he was. Why the hell did he care? Why the hell did anyone care? What the hell was she doing here and why couldn't she sleep?

"Oh just peachy keen!" She giggled as if she was drunk, then went sober again. "Only I can't remember where I was last night. But why am I repeating myself, I already told her..."

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 05:45 AM (GMT)
"I'm sorry I didn't hear what you told Leona. Too many things on my mind." Shit Joe knew that the Amman would try to clean up Leona's mess.

"I'll pay for your drink. I think I know what's happening but we need some privacy. Would you mind joining me upstairs?" Joseph gesturing towards the keys in his hand. If it was what he thought it was then this girl was going to be having a lot of late nights for the rest of her life.

Vixey - November 8, 2005 06:07 AM (GMT)
"YOu and that Bliss guy hook up?" She asked with a grinm her fangs of course hidden as she took a swig of her drink. She let out an audible sigh as Joseph joined them What did he want? He had his room, she woudl be gone in a few once she paid for her drinks.

"Joe, If youoffer to cover someones drinks, it's always best to makes ure you know just how many they've had." She said knowingly. Obviously bars and clubs were not his most frequesnted spots.

"No, I'm good right here." She said. It would have been defiance, but well, it wasn't like she answered to him or anything. She wasn't just some little girl who did was a man told her too. "We were having a nice little girl to girl chat befor eyou so rudly interupted." She said raisng her eyebrows as she looked at him with a smirk.

"We met at breifly party about two weeks back or so but I wasn't feeling too well so we didn't get a chance to talk."

Darkasian - November 8, 2005 06:18 AM (GMT)
"I'm sorry for interrupting your conversation. I was just a little worried about her. You know how I am." Joseph let his anger come out a little bit. Joseph grabbed his drink and took a sip of it. No matter how much he drank he couldn't get used to it.

"Well I'll let you two catch up." Joseph offered his hand to Aspen, "My name is Joseph Kingsland, if you change your mind I'll be in room number 4." Joseph turned around and walked up the stairs taking his drink. He drew the blinds and placed the table against it so then he wouldn't have to worry about the sunlight. He jumped onto the bed and took another sip of his beer.

Aspen Raen - November 8, 2005 11:08 PM (GMT)
Aspen sighed. What was he talking about? He knew what was wrong with her? Oh, she didn't need to be told. She'd rather not know anyway, plus unless he was a doctor she didn't think he could tell her.

"It's nice to meet you," she said anyway, quite absentmindedly, "Thank you very much for your concern." She shook his hand then turned back to Leo.

"Uh, Bliss? Oh. I guess you could say that. I'm not too sure...I've found out some things recently that are making me have second thoughts." She sighed. Bliss was perhaps the kindest man she had ever met, but she had known something else was bothering him. Now that she knew what he was, would he still act the same towards her?

She didn't smile back at Leo, she couldn't. Besides not being able to remember where she had been the night before, the thought of Bliss sent a pang into her heart. She felt as if she had betrayed him, though she didn't understand why.

"Who was he? Besides Joe?" She asked when he got far enough away.

Darkasian - November 9, 2005 02:31 AM (GMT)
When Joseph made sure absolutely no sunlight could enter the room he telepathically connected with Daneille, his sire.

'I just don't understand women nowadays. So let me guess what you've been up to for the past couple of days, killing and playing the violin.'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Daneille was just outside when she got the message from Joe. 'Oh Joe you know me so well.' Daneille smiled, that was exactly what she was doing. 'I sense you and a vampire in there.' She entered the bar wearing her usual black dress and low cut boots. She walked towards the bar near the young vampiress and the girl. "Bartender I just want a glass of tequila with a twist of lime." She turned to the two talking girls, "Do you mind if I join you two? My name is Daneille." She smiled at the two of them not letting her fangs show.
Vixey - November 9, 2005 02:41 AM (GMT)
"Ah, he's a bit of a looker if I may say so. He seemed to fancy you as well. But be careful. All men want just one thing from women like us." She looked over her shoulder up the steps where Joseph had dissapeared to. "And personaly, most of them aren't even worth the time of day." She said with a smile. "Had a friend back in school, said that only women knew how to please women." Ah Shelly, she had been an insperation to them all. And well, truth be told Alex had to agree sometimes. Recently men had just been a let down.
Her head raised as a voice joined them. She knew at once that this was no human, and she knew that the woman knew what she really was. Hm, pitty there were humans around. "Free country ain't it?" She shrugged, turning back to Aspen.
"Anyway, I don't think I've ever introduced myself." She said matter of factly. "Alex Renald. Just blew in to town not to long ago. And sorry if I was rude at the ball, I just wasn't my usual self."
Darkasian - November 9, 2005 02:52 AM (GMT)
Danielle took a sip of her of her tequila listening to the two girls talking about men.
"I'm sorry to barge in, but I've had a similar experience with men. Namely a b...guy named Joe Kingsland. Can't believe I saw something in him." Danielle laughed as she mentioned Joe. To think he was just upstairs. She sent him a telepathic nudge to let him know she wasn't kidding.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Joe sneered as he felt Danielle talking about him. Sometimes he hated women. He laughed it off and sent her a telepathic kiss.

Aspen Raen - November 9, 2005 04:13 AM (GMT)
Aspen nodded, but the look on her face was still solemn. She could barely sum up the energy to reply.

"He is very handsome...like an angel..." Her voice faded out and her eyes took on a weird far off look. She didn't even bother to reply to the rest of what Alex had said. She liked Bliss a lot, but she couldn't get her head around it. He was a vampire? She sighed and turned her attention to Alex.

"I was afraid I had offended you. I'm glad to see I haven't. My name is Aspen Raen. Most people just call me Raen, but I'm sure Bliss told you that already. How do you know him by the way?"

She didn't really acknowledge the new lady that had sat next to her, though she recongnized the name that she repeated. It was the man she had just met. She sat for moment before her tired eyes turned to look at her suddenly.

"He is here you know. This Joseph you speak off."

((srry if this doesn't make a lot of sense. I had to explain how rping works to my dad's friend))

Vixey - November 9, 2005 04:20 AM (GMT)
No, she wasn't sorry. There was no way in hell she could be after butting in twice. How rude.

"Right missy. Might be the same Joe I know. Maybe not. Can't remeber his last name." She shrugged. "All I know is that he's confused about who he is and what he really wants and knows." She grinned. "Not to mention has no way with women and thinks that everyone is just going to follow him home as if they actualy wanted him." She chuckled slightly.

Yeah, she would admit she had just been bored that night. Not to mention slightly sympathetic to his loss, but now looking back, well, hah it was fun while it lasted. Sort of.

"Now, if you ask my opinnion, the Bliss guy." She said as her head swiveled back to Aspen. "He seems like the really nice, proper man who knows how to treat a woman right and show her a good time." Tilting back the glass she finished the drink off. That would be all for now, she needed to sade some money after all. Find a room somewhere else.

Darkasian - November 9, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
Danielle nearly laughed when Aspen told her Joseph was here, of course she knew he was here, but she feigned surprise.

"Oh I didn't know that! Well he can be kind of stubborn at times. I found him to be somewhat of a sweetheart when I first met him. Couldn't resist playing with him." Danielle lightly giggled at this last comment of hers. She felt Joe's telepathic kiss, but pushed it away. She then sent out the telepathic version of a slap.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Damn!! Joe's head was throbbing from that telepathic slap. 'Bitch' he told her mentally.
Aspen Raen - November 9, 2005 04:27 AM (GMT)
Aspen didn't care for the girl's apology. Like Alex had said, it was a free country. She could say what she wanted. It didn't mean she had to respond, though she had no problem with the woman, so she had no reason not to reply.
"I don't really know him," she said, replying to the statement about Joe. It was easy to see that Alex did not like this Joe character, or this woman. Annoyance was written across her face.
Aspen turned to look at Alex, her eyes lighting up a bit as they talked about Bliss. She ignored the guilty tug in her stomach.
"He is a gentleman, at least as far as I know. I have no reason to trust him, right?" She sighed with relief. She had just calmed a few anxious fears with this question. She wasn't actually looking for the answer. Just to say it aloud made her feel better.
That was when she suddenly realized what Alex must be. Family gathering Jonas had said. All the family there had been vampire. Alex must be one too. That was the reason for the odd looks she had gotten from her the other night. She didn't act on this realization. She continued to talk to her as if it were normal. Alex would not hurt her here.
Vixey - November 9, 2005 04:45 AM (GMT)
"Conciter yourself lucky then. And try to stay away." She grinned. It was probably the best advice she could give the girl beyond not walking in to a ball of vampires or crossing her when the lust had settled.
"But even as a play toy... Hmmm... How to say it... He's still to young. Not enough time or practice under his belt." Both literaly and figurativly to Alex's ammusement really.
"As for Bliss though, I've seen him only as such in my presence anyway." She nodded. "And well, a gentleman in public is compleatly differant behind closed doors really."
She had to smile as the the revilation crossed Aspen's mind. She could feel the humans brain working almost as if clockwork. So simple to peer in to. No, And nor would I hurt you anywhere else if I am in control. She sent softly into the girls mind. She already knew, why not have fun right? I won't hurt a fly if I can help it. Bad Leo. She just couldn't resist.
Aspen Raen - November 9, 2005 04:54 AM (GMT)
Aspen smiled suddenly, "Oh, I think he'd be a fine gentlemen behind closed doors." She winked, feeling suddenly much better, though still drained. She didn't say anything about Joe, not knowing how Alex meant young. She was still young too, though Aspen didn't know how accurate that assumption was.
She was about to say something else when she heard a voice in her mind. She physically jumped.
"Oh my God!" She exclaimed outloud. The whole of the bar turned to her. Her cheeks turned the redest they had been all evening. She quieted down, pretending nothing was happening. She had almost thought Alex had spoken aloud, but she had not seen her lips moving. Aspen had to close her eyes and tried remember what Alex was. Could she respond back through her mind? There was no doubt about it, Alex was the one in control right then. Aspen didn't like that, but she could do nothing about it.
'Can't you help it?'
Vixey - November 9, 2005 05:00 AM (GMT)
She smiled, bairly hiding a giggle at the girls reaction. If there was one thing she liked about her unchosen yet irreversable life, it was this.
It all depends my dear. When one is hungry, you will eat just about anything that smells good right? She asked with a smile. She would casualy point out the murdurs on the television being hers, but this wasn't the place time or person to tell anything to. Well I'm the same way. She grinned. Though I tend to be a little more messy than most.
"So then," She said out loud now turning to the other vampiress, pity Alex forgot her name. "Where did you meet Joeseph?"
Darkasian - November 9, 2005 05:02 AM (GMT)
Danielle looked into her glass dissapointed that she finished it so quickly. "Bartender can I get another tequila? Oh also a bottle of your finest liquor with two glasses. Let's just say I met him in college. I'm sorry to dissapoint you two, but I've got some things to take care of upstairs." She motioned towards Joe's room. "Got some catching up to do. And no it isn't to, ummm, party." Danielle picked up the drinks and left gave the bartender a generous tip of $50.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Damn it Danielle was coming up, that was the last thing Joe needed right now. He laid on the bed with the empty bottle at the foot of the bed. What did she want? Joe heard a knock at the door. "Come in Danielle." He didn't even bother getting up.

Aspen Raen - November 9, 2005 05:05 AM (GMT)
Aspen's heart rate picked up. She didn't know how much more heart racing she could handle. Could she over work her heart with panic? She watched as Danielle got up.

"Bye," she said before responding to what Alex had said.

'I'm a picky eater, but I guess that's true. Aspen grimaced at the thought of what Alex meant by messy. Many things could be derived. She didn't want to think about it.

"Bartender, can I get a screwdriver please?" She wasn't big on alcohol, but a drink now, even a small one, would be good.

Vixey - November 9, 2005 03:07 PM (GMT)
"Go have fun." Leo said almost dismisivly. "Have fun wiht your little pet." She forced a smile for the woman as she left.

As sure what the hell. "I'll have another too." She grinned. She hit the girl lightly, playfully on the shoulder with the back of her hand. "Seems that we have the same tastes at least." She chuckled, suddenly entranced by this young woman. She was pretty... Almost like Shelly was. The heartbreaker of their year. So beautiful, but off limits to guys.

"I would say we could play some drinking games, have a bit of fun, but well, I'm at a bit of an advantage." She grinned. Even with the drinks she had, she still could see, think and funtcion just fine. She wasn't even buzzed of course,

Darkasian - November 9, 2005 05:51 PM (GMT)
Danielle returned the smile. She would have some fun with Joseph. And she knew exactly what she was going to do to him. "Well I'll see you later ladies." Danielle said while winking at Aspen. Danielle could tell that Aspen would taste quite exquisite, but she decided to leave the mortal alone.

Danielle opened the door to Joe's room and put the bottle of liquor on the end table next to the bed. "So what've you been doing you naughty boy? Stalking the girl down there?" She jumped on top of Joe and kissed him on the lips. She turned off the lights as they were continuing to kiss. Forgetting about Alex and Aspen, who were still talking downstairs.

Aspen Raen - November 9, 2005 08:43 PM (GMT)
Aspen smiled as she downed her drink.

"Another if you don't mind." She pushed her glass back to the bartender, ready to go again, then turned her attention to Alex.

"Yes, you do have a bit of advantage, I'd say, but I am quite a heavy weight." She winked. She was up the the challenge if Alex was. It would take her mind off of certain other...things. Aspen ran a hand through her dark hair, trying to forget everything that was bugging her at the moment. That was what she was here for, right? It wouldn't hurt to have a little fun.

Vixey - November 9, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
"A little fun might be just what you need" She said with a wink as the girl ordered another drink. A little of fun was brewing in Leo's mind as she spoke. Hell, what did she have to lose by trying?

"So what's your poison girl? Tequila, vodka, gin, whiskey, turpintine?" She chuckled. "Cause for a game I have in mind beer just won't cut it. Well unless you want this thing going till dawn which I wouldn't like too much. We can do some mixed drinks, but it's just usualy cheeper to buy a straight bottle."

Aspen smiled once more, her mood drastically changing. Fun, she wasn't sure but she was thinking maybe she'd had a little too much fun the past few nights, but...

"Hmm...I'm not sure, how about we make it your choice?" Aspen wasn't a big drinker, didn't get out much...at least not what was defined as "out" in normal society. It was best to let Alex choose the drink.

"Well, you've had some Tequila, some vodka, so let's go with some good ole fashion Rum." She said with a grin.

"Can we get two bottles of my good friend Captian Morgan over here sir? Silver Spiced if you got it." She asked the bartender with a sassy smile.

"You sure you're going to be able to handle it miss? You've already had more than I've seen anyone else consume here tonight." The barkeeper was genuinly concerned. He didn't feel like having to call the police or ambulance. Not to mention the attack on his bar, and a threat to his license.

"Oh, I'll be fine." She said with a wink. "I'm a big girl and we're just looken for some fun."

"Oh alright then. Just be sure you're not driving then." He said as he handed over the bottles to Leona.

"I promise." She said with a slight laugh as she turned away shoving a bottle into Aspens hand. "Here ya go. You might like this almost a vanilla type taste to it. It was one of my favorites." When I was your age She added silently to the girl.

Aspen waited as Alex talked to the bartender. She had no idea what kind of fun she was in for. She had never been one to underage drink, and only just having turned twenty-one a few months ago, she didn't really know what she liked. She knew she wouldn't be driving. Her car was still being fixed up. She didn't want to take the subway alone either, especially if she was drunk. Lots of creeps out there...

She was shaken out of her thoughts when Alex shoved the bottle in her hands.

"Yum, vanilla," she licked her lips, "I should like this, vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream." She smiled sheepishly, not knowning why she said this. Could Alex even get drunk? She found herself suddenly wandering why she drank if it wasn't to get drunk.

"Well then," she winked, "Let the games begin."

(Hah hah, Another US'er! One good thing about Canada sweety, drinkign age is ninteen *grins* Not like here where it's 21 ^.~))

"Right then!" Pulling a dollar coin from her pocket she dropped it lightly on the table. "I like to call this game Luck of the Loony* Rules are quite simple really. One of us flips the coin, the other calls it. If the caller get it right, the one who fliped it takes a swig of their bottle. If the caller gets it wrong, they take a swig." She explained. "Simple enough 'eh?"

The bottles were big enough, just about two liters each. But they would certianly not finish it all. "Think you're up for it my dear?"

((*This is actualy one of my games, I just call it Luck of the Irish since my friend who is half Irish always wins >.< I call it Loony here cause the dollar coin of canada is also called a Loony))

Aspen Raen - November 10, 2005 04:00 AM (GMT)
((Aspen is Irish! Haha...but I don't think she'll win))

Aspen smiled, laughing slightly. "Surely you aren't asking me that question? Of course I'm up to it." She winked. Really, she wasn't sure what she was getting herself into, but for the moment, she was willing to accept the consequences.

"So, who's first?" The bottles were pretty full, they could go on like this all night, but some how Aspen did not think that would be the case.

((Not if she's up against a vampire with 40 bucks in tabs and isn't even the slightest bit buzzed. Especialy if she's been bitten and drained recently. Anemias not food for drinking. I know this first hand >.<))

"Ah. Well it's good to see you losen up a bit to have some fun. Girls night out if it were." She grined, flashing a bit of fang subtly. She popped the courk out of the bottle, welcoming the pungent oder into her nose. "Yess... It's been a long time my old friend. A long time indeed." She said as se kissed the bottle, taking a generous swig before setting it down on the counter.

"Right then. Now, I guess I'll flip first to show you how it;s done." She said as she picked up the coin once more. "Call it in the air love> She said as she flipped the coin up into the air casualy.

Aspen Raen - November 10, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
Aspen grinned sheepishly. "Girl's night out, at least that is the way it had turned out. I didn't plan on it, but I think I can learn to deal with it."

Aspen watched Alex, amused. This girl was something. She found herself admiring her personality. Aspen could never bring herself to be so outgoing, but having Alex there had helped her to loosen up a get and forget her worries.

Alex tossed the coin into the air and Aspen became focused on this "game."

"Alright, I call..." she hesitated for a moment before finishing, "Heads." She didn't believe in the luck of the Irish, so she was crossing her fingers, not that it mattered. She couldn't stay away from the bottle the entire night and the point was to have fun, right?
