I'd be fairly content if they do a blinding 35 minute 'Blindness' and then shove off. I might even catch the last bus home if they did that.

well i'll be out and about selling fanzines... buy one .. so I can buy some petrol to get back to Bolton no seriously..

Yes when it comes to The Fall quality beats out quantity every time!

For instance I know that some people think that AYAMW should have been a single.

I think they should roll up, play white lightning and mr. pharmacist, come back for an encore of popcorn double feature and then be done.

There will be plenty of apologists who will say it's OK even if that is all you get. Hope it is a good show for everybody all the same.

Excellent gig tonight. The support band was crap, the turnout was surprisingly high considering it was £16 to get in, and MES was on his best behaviour. The first song wasn't very good, but (with the exeption of some dodgy keyboards on Touch Sensitive) they were on top form after that. The last song was very impressive- may have been 'blindness' but bore no resemblance to the Interim version.

my god, clayts, i was certainly speaking firmly in jest!(with some truth of course) how could you think otherwise? Anyway, as a Scot (from the West-hey hey!) wots your opinion of the Celtic leg of the (doomed?) tour. Luv to hear. And dont be so sensitive, we scots are abrasive, but cry like a baby when touched..

Just sticking up for me mate Dave who works bloody hard to bring us the fanzine. Maybe a wink would have been better than a Mr Angry smilie ?

Aren't we forgetting something? It's 01.12 in the morning, and still no review of the show. (Apart from AgentW very kindly sending us the setlist, which we haven't even thanked him for.)

I love FFD (who doesnt? - tho I havent (knowingly) met him..and yes we ALL appreciate his fanzine efforts..but I notice a politician-like non-answer regarding Scotland. Express an opinion , please..
