Hmm. Maybe we could do our own Peel thing on here. Like Rex’s Fall Mix competition a while ago. Only this time you do the tracklist for a single-CD tribute to Peel and we can vote on the ones we like best in a poll. Any interest in this, or is it a totally rubbish suggestion?

Good to see a fairly current Fall song on there though, rather than something from way back.

Actually, I think that's a fairly decent compilation... it's 'interesting' without being too obscure to sell more than half a dozen copies... and I don't think there's a single song I hate on there...

But if we want to play 'Fantasy Peel Comp', I'm game...

A bloke I was working with this evening showed me a review of this album from that tacky 'lads mag' Zoo. It called Capt. Beefheart and The Fall 'contrary tosh'.

Having perused the magazine momentarily and observed the content, it needs to be said that one would have to be particulary shallow and/or stupid to spend money on such a publication.

Zoo. The magazine for people not clever enough to spell FHM.

His theme tune "Pickin' The Blues by Griderswitch" is a startling omission.

Sorry, but I just can't see the point in this ... and how can there be any Peel compiliation without Misty in Roots??

A shocking oversight by those responsible for this compilation; it needs to be said.
