hello there :: I just wanted to announce that I have a special Fall mix
being broadcast live on my radio show {only in the Milton Keynes area, sorry}
this coming Friday evening from 10pm. It's special as it was put together by
the inventor of the ME Smith typeface!
If you are interested in hearing it after the broadcast let me know and I am sure
a cd of it can be made available free upon request :: Cheers!
the show: The Garden
the mixer: Paul Wilson

So are you just going to play a load of Fall songs then? Milton Keynes is a strange place - it is like Gothenberg gone wrong.

well it's not me doing the mix, as I would play the more
catchier stuff, This Nation, Kurious Orange etc as thats my
fave Fall stuff. But Paul is going for the obscure stuff and
then some, he has taken so long in getting this mix together
its bound to be interesting! I will post up the tracklisting
when I have it but the offer still stands if anyone wants a
copy you just need to drop me a mail ok so.

It is rather nasty. What's it from? It seems vaguely familiar....

I dunno where the avatar is from, I just thought it looked kinda cool,
but my idea of cool is usually out of sync with whats going on anyway...
I can change it to a lovely kitten if that doesn't upset anyone?
or how about a choice between these 4 ~ i'm a sucker for moving gifs!

Wow....

The last one (in cropped form) is already used by Divvey. It's fantastic to see the full version!

And as for the one above it....

hello all
just to add to the fall garden mix information: it's not just playing a load of fall songs (as if that wasn't enough!).

as part of the mix, in between some of the tracks, i've dropped in clips from my fall covers project.

basically, what i do is take the covers of fall lps and scan them, convert the images to sound then work with the sounds into something interesting. there's a mix of different sounds: noisy, ambient but hopefully all with enough repetition to satisfy the fall in all of you...

you can hear clips from my 'cover versions' of 27 points, are you are missing winner, bend sinister, cerebral caustic, code selfish and interim

click here for pwilson's fall 'covers'

all feedback appreciated.

in the garden mix i've also included some choice mes spoken word stuff: from postnearly man, the bbc3 doc, the remixer single...

email head gardener, ask for a cd. hope you like it!

regards
paul

it is from a movie called office space. it was written and directed by mike judge, creator of beavis and butthead. in that scene, the guy is beating with his bare fist the office fax machine. also, this is my first post so hello to all.

hey guys {it does seem to be all guys round here, I wonder why, haha}
I appreciate your requests for the Fall mix and there is no problem, but
it would be best if you PM me here via the board rather than my site with
your postal address as a few folks have not left me their contact details.
If you have already PM'd me here no worries, your mix will be with you shortly ok.
and yeah, the cat does have a limp... poor bugger

There are in fact a handful of women on here but there should really be more. It's a pity. Maybe they have better things to do...
