Fall T-shirts, Which colour/design would you prefer ?

I've been trying to get hold of a "Lie Dream Of Casino Soul" t-shirt for ages now... so maybe they could re-issue this one?

Otherwise, other singles covers would be good... "Kicker Conspiracy/Wings" springs to mind.

Would LOVE to see some retro Rough Trade singles T-Shirts, Totally Wired in particular....

However, I think the AYAMW T-Shirt, in it's negative form with MES and Elaine on the cover, would make an excellent T-shirt.

I voted for black and something else entirely for the design.

Mostly because I couldn't think of what to vote on the ideas provided.

Couldn't help thinking of those Voiceprint covers when it said something painted by a small child

Ideas ... dunno, I thought of MES and Brix - can't see that happenning!

Or that pic of MES leans out the train window - although that'd be better on a white background. Could be quite a good t shirt, even if it is a little 'retro'.

Just thought the colour shot (it appeared in a music mag) of the LUS cover would be pretty good, on a black t-shirt. Even though it doesn't show MES in his best light.

A collage of pics from the Sparta FC Cd single inner would be good - nice pics those.

Best of the lot, now I think about it, those pics from the Word of Expectation CD, and that other poster sleeve, the one in the Time Enough at Last box set.

hmm, on a roll now...the Kurious Oranj album pics, the Frenz Experiment cover, and the pics from that photo session...

Hmm, thinks "The Complete Peel Sessions would make a very nice design......." plus act as an advert too....

the wave on the front might be better - it would look quite funny wearing that in front of people.

I've actually got the original LP he found that from, picked it up in a boot fair, it's religious music I think - good likeness of him!

on a more serious note the Fall line up from the Extricate cover would make a good t-shirt. Black - three members on the front, three on the back.

i voted for "something drawn by a small child" - the totally wired cover is almost the same thing and would look good on a shirt.

One advert at bottom of page is for Disney t-shirts. This could be a good one: Disney's Dream Debased t-shirts, for our next visit to Disneyland. Would we be refused entry? Is there free speech in the States?!

I like the idea of this one above all, but I think it would be difficult to produce it well;
Voiceprint Live sleeve would be good ('fuck off' one, not Live from the Vaults)
but I'd go with the Peel design - straightforward block lettering - can't go wrong with that

Taking the three most popular options up to now, it's a black swirly logo done by a small child. I'll get my son onto it and let you know where to send the royalties.

Difficult to say really, based on the above. I'd prefer them to be abstract, whether or not they're actual LP covers, or to have pictures of the current line-up - not be exercises in personnel nostalgia.

For my money I'd like to see:

Pascal Le Gras designs (there must be some "out-takes" of designs that never got used for things like Infotainment, Grudgeful etc)

Scrawly handwriting inc. quotes from songs - "Beware fat aggressive men, and handsome aggressive men" on a shirt in MES's handwriting would be fantastic

A "Sparta F.C." football shirt. with "Smith M.E." and the number 9 on the back.

These should all, of course, be black

Black does bump the price up and there are a few designs which would actually be better on white.

Personally I'd happily pay a bit more for black t-shirts... Me and white t-shirts don't get on - most of my t-shirts are either black or dark, so I've got nothing else to put in the wash with white ones
