Before anyone asks, I don't know the mastering source. But I'm listening to a reference copy from Town House mastering suite right now and it sounds fantastic. biggrin.gif

I'm trying to convince all the buggers who don't like And This Day just what a work of genius it truly is! tongue.gif

The Mainstreet soundcheck version is pretty stonking too.

But both versions are short - track 10 is 6+ minutes; track 12 is 5+ minutes.

I really wish we could've used the 15 minute version from the HP&K compilation...

... or compiled a 40 minute megamix. laugh.gif

Just looking back at my emails, the tracklisting is as I proposed to Sanctuary on 15th March - takes a while getting these things out!

Nice work, I shall be in the queue.

but (not wishing to sound ungrateful) why are the Peel Sessions still going on these things, when the whole lot will (theoretically) be available soon?

I know it lends some sort of historical perspective, or what have you, but I'd far rather have a full 2nd disc of unreleased stuff like the last 6 tracks....could maybe have ahd a whole gig, a la Witch Trials rerelease.

Anyway, too late now: no use crying after Klimt's Lip biggrin.gif

I look forward to it.

I've just explained on another thread:

"Sorry but Sanctuary want the Peel material on the abums, for new fans who probably won't be up for a 6CD box set, but would appreciate hearing the songs from the relevant session."

Sorry Martin, being a bit irresponsible there.

But you can keep Brix and her singing well away from my lovely And This Day, thanks very much. Just look at the way she ruined a perfectly good Garden on that Hacienda DVD.....

Conway, as you're doing such a good job of organising the re-issues, how about putting yourself forward as the man for the job when it comes to re-mastering and choosing tracks for deluxe re-issues of Brix's Adult Net albums?
