Munich, Registratur, 13th october

Always different and always the same…
Started 22:35… setlist pretty much the same as reported in the other reviews concerning the germany/Austria tour… short intro…“Open the goddam box “…Good evening we are the Fall... two mics to play with and two cables to fasten with knots…70 minute gig… played fast, raw and unpolished…the way I like them to play, great…

(and if anybody recorded that and could help me I would be very, very happy…)

--------------------
.....acoustic jam session every Saturday morning, beginning at 9 in the A.M., and jamming until noon. All are invited to join in, no permission or approval is needed, but we ask only one thing... Please, no more than ONE triangle player at a time.

Just wanted to link my pics from the Munich show (emailed it to the site host, but got the email returned). Here you go:

The Fall, Munich

Guess "someone" must've recorded it, because the BR-radio van was in front of the club. Check Zündfunk, I'd say.

great show and my first time seeing the Fall. when have they been to Munich last time? I can't remember.

greetings,

Jörg.

There is a realstream - but it could be possible that the station interrupts the signal after 35 minutes... So you may have to restart the player again...

The gig in Munich (13.10.04) was the best Munich Fall concert since Theaterfabrik 91.They played fast and rough versions of Sparta FC,mr. pharmacist, wrong place...great.I had the chance to invite Mr. Smith 4 a beer after the gig -so he told me that he was really positivly surprised about the munich audiance this time.
I just agreed, because I remember the last Fallgig at the Charterhalle Munich in 93 where they had to play in front of 70 people in a terribly large location.Shit!!!!
M. E. Smith was in such a good mood that he even signed me my autograph righ on my "15 ways to leave your man" bootleg before leaving the Registratur club at 3.00.
The next day the lead singer of Doc Schoko (Christian) and Sonja (viol.) -who supported the Fall for about 10 gigs in germ./aust.-told me both that munich had been the best gig in gerneral and that it will be broadcasted by BR Radio.
By the way- does anybody know how to get some Fall bootlegs?Wacki

Just listened to the Munich concert on Bayern 2 radio... not sure if the radio station did some editing, but many songs seemed to be shorter and/or played significantly faster than on the day before in Vienna. The band sounds really rushed on some of the songs.

I used to have this thing about Link Wray...

I just downloaded it from easytree
here, and it sounds great so far!
