Heidelberg

Fantastic gig last night, although not as long as Münster (which was 2 hours of The Fall live).

Sound was brilliant yet again, the tour seems to be very professionally run in that department. Mark had some sort of delay and slight echo on his mic which sounded great.

The place wasn't as packed as Münster, older crowd, look liked they had a bit of spare cash knocking about.

The Fall started with Boxoctosis and then played the new one, except with Mark singing... The lyrics are currently "CD in your hand", but i'm sure they'll change by Köln.

One word about the support band again, Dr Schoko, they also seem to be getting better as the tour progresses. The version of 96 Tears last night was great.

Heidelberg is a beautiful place, the venue itself was right at the end of the old town, set amongst the hills, just below the big Schloss. The low clouds steaming from the trees in the hillside was very stunning. Great place, although pricey.

Left a bag of something in the tour van to thank the band for the fantastic gigs. The Fall are getting better and better.... Go see them if you can.

I lived in Heidelberg for 10 years and never got to see them so am very jealous.
I'm going to go to Germany, but unfortunately the boat I'll be on won't get there until after christmas if at all.
Heidelberg is kind of touristy. I would avoid the walk-zone to the castle like the plague. My favorite place as with all in Germany are the train station and industrial park.

Fist time I had seen Fall since Detmold Feb 1987. We all changed - me too and MES older and years drunk!
Good strong musik sound at gig. Saw band after gig moving from condert hall and spoke with them. Got mES autograph, I know I am too old ot be fan!!
I am followign tour so off to nect gig. Great music form FALL!!!
