I imagine MES sacked the band, attempted to recruit a new one from a nearby youth club, then finally went on stage 2 hours late and berated the now-empty venue by reading random passages from "The Master And Margarita" through a megaphone. And then spent the night arguing with the gig promoter for his fee.

I expect it was claimed at least once that "if it weren't for us, you lot would be speaking German".

And the audience all expected to see The Clash.

Wow, what is exactly going on there? Is MES patting that guy's head? Did he reach out to try and grab your camera?

I always wondered what FallFanDave's prose would look like if he tried to write sentences. Stick to the random words and then you look like you are doing the steam of consciousness thang.

P.S There's a review of the German gig to automatically translate into English if you look on Google

--------------------
""I say, erm, I think we are not just, what you call, underdogs, we are massh-ive underdogs."
Steve McClaren.

"They have an engine called the Press whereby the people are deceived."
C. S. Lewis That Hideous Strength

"Each [tradition] is led by a Grimas, or leader; in adjectival form 'grimo' = "wrinkled, wizened" or poor, wretched."
Zingarelli-Zanichelli, 1977:777

Glad to read such words too! I know Fall (as deep as it can be to the russian) since 1993... (and I'm 34) Thanks to J Peel broadcasts! BBC has played the big role on my musical taste though... also I've learned english with its help by the way! Thanks to some Fall fans from this board, I have plenty of Fall stuff now! The World is so interesting as long as it has clever people all around... Thank it! Thank you!

I wonder who's an author at last! Is it our Russian journalist - Aleksander Gorbachev (as it indicated)? Am I right? And who's make the english version then? Don't understand....
