well this is their best album i think....

for me this is one of the best dance-albums.
i mean, this albums still sounds so tight and fresh.
the beat and the bass' just movin.
for me the best mondees-album even before bummed.

I'm a big fan of the Mondays. Squirrel and G-Man, Twenty Four Hour Plastic People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out) is a good album, but just a testing ground for what they would achieve on Bummed. After that, it all went a bit too plasticky. Good good good good, doubledoublegood, doubledoublegood.

Real exciting album when it came out. Full of HOPE. And gnashy John Cale produced rhythm section and SECTION again. A real fooking treat for we FALL fans at the time who had near fookin nowt else to listen to.
I dont care to give an opinion about how trendy they got until they sounded like an NME sponsored talent quest (WHOOPS) but fuck the history, wrap y'self in the sheer unwrapped kippers and drumkit kickers that wait you on this dense, glorious LP.
