*sigh* My order came in from Action Records, and it doesn't include the "Levitate" 2CD because it's sold out... The single CD version is easy to find, but it just seems like I'd be buying less than the whole album. Does anyone know where there are any of the double-version still available? Does anyone know how many there were? Even knowing that might make me feel somewhat better...

Hi - actually, I got "Are You Are Missing Winner" - the other one I ordered. It's going to bother me until I find the complete version of "Levitate" - I'm not going to be able to make myself buy anything less, even if it's "more" quality-wise. "Beast Box' is a great album! Over here, you could find it in delete bins all over the place. It's weird that it even had a Canadian pressing, because nobody seemed to care. What do the 12" singles have on the other sides?

well i got all the songs on the album of beast box on mp3....but weirdly enough it is not easy to get this album over here in england.....i have seen it on the net [imported from canada........did they make too many for canada or sth?]

the beast box is dreaming 12 inch comes with also, beast box, and an extra track called useless love

jezebel comes with an instro version of smoking mirror and a live version of sickly thug & i [recorded at leicester poly 9/3/88]

Like the first Luxuria LP a lot better, but there's a couple of good tracks on Beast Box.

yes the 1st album i like the best too.....i like all the tracks on the 1st album....only half the tracks on the 2nd album.....fave tracks r :huh: [1st lp]=public highway

You know, "Beast Box" was the first of theirs I bought, and I haven't given their acutal first album as much of a chance. The only thing I don't like from "Beast Box", though, is "We Keep on Getting There", which reminds me of an iffy, later-period Peter Hammill-type thing and I always skip it. "Smoking Mirror" is great, I think - I also like "I've Been Expecting You". I thought it was odd that either LP was released in Canada because no-one seemed to acknowledge them in any way - just lack of promotion, maybe? Sitting in a weird place culturally? I don't remember anyone writing about them or mentioning them. They'd have been completely foreign to any Canadian radio, as well. Both LPs seemed to go straight to the sale bins. Also, the covers probably weren't so enticing if you just saw either in the shop and didn't bother looking more closely.

Luxuria supported the Fall around the US in 1988.

Actually Ian, your shotbybothsides live page may be missing a few of the US gigs - Channel Boston 12 May 1988 for one, off the top of my head.

The Americans promised me a copy but never came thru. O! (little) bother....

RICHARD! i have just won a second copy of this 2cd levitate on ebay [i got it cos me 1st copy, which i got 2nd hand, has part of the inner cover missing....and me new copy....looks like it's gonna be a mint one.

anyway i am willing to swap me worse copy for sth else by the fall or otherwise [if and when me mint copy arrives] ....

u dont have a spare extricate cd, any version? :huh: i think that's the only fall album i aint got on cd .....anyway let us know!

Onya Dave! Can't say that I've got anything Fall on cd that's swoppable, the only thing I've doubled up on are various 7 inchers....

How about I just send you an IMO? For say, five or so pommy dollars? That should cover postage too....

incidently......i got this cup the other day off ebay wrapped in nothing but brown paper....well it was all smashed to bits...so i leaves negative feedback ....then i gets load of aggro off this seller...emailing me to tell me i shouldnt leave negative feedback....it was not very decent of me :rolleyes: and that these things happen!....well they bleedin do if yer pack em in brown paper :(

although me tooth was never took out on trip to dentist [previously mentioned on here] i did in fact go to the tooth fairies....even though an x-ray from the dentist said it was only a wisdom tooth under me normal tooth....anyway the tooth fairy bought me a drink :D so cheers for that richard....but she seems to have bought herself a drink tooo....must be cos it's a wisdom tooth ;)
