They had many singles in top 50 that weren't in top 40 because they refused, utterly, to do the "one a-side with alternate b-sides" (as in Fall gruppe "Masquerade") method of inflating chart placing. GZM considered it cheating. .

Irritatingly though, it seemed that Euros pulled the Sanctuary re-issue of the first three albums, rather than Universal not considering it sales-worthy - because a re-issue with live/session tracks and rarities would be considered to be a rip-off. Even though i've got the first three albums and the EPs, I had been very excited at the prospect of these for ages, and I, unless he plans to release them on his National Elf Library imprint for nowt, think it's a shame that I didn't get to own them.
That said, this probably serves me right for being such a LBB and not feasting on the five zillion things he puts up on that imprint for nothing anyway.
Some very generous soul has stuck up the two video compilations up on youtube which is a very good thing.
