I remember seeing To The Devil, a Daughter when I was 17 or 18, and she was a couple of years younger.

Mind you, I did get to the state in Cat People where I was going, "Oh, no - she's taking her clothes off again!"

She is an example of a beautiful daughter having an ugly - or striking - father. Charlotte Gainsbourg is another. Are there any more?

I think they take on their mother's genes, Bernie Ecclestone isn't very lovely, but his daughter is, but I'm sure he has a lovely personality.

With Kinski and Gainsbourg, you can see their father in them. Neither are classically beautiful because they're too individual looking (I take classical beauty to be really bland, which might be wrong.)

Er er, don't know what else to say.

Starsk - would you say that Klaus and Serge are attractive - say in the same way that I find their daughters to be? I do like to see Klaus and serge, I must admit, so there is some attraction there for me. I don't know what it is, though.

Edit

I hope my first post wasn't taken as being critical of anyone. :P

You do know that's Laura Dern in your second pic, Mr. The Herr Unseen? I mean, seeing as it's an Appreciation Thread only and all. ;)

I think both are extremely attractive, thought they defy our current appreciation of attractiveness. Attraction is complex, these men have animal magnetism, you could not fail to look at them if they walked into a room, it would be like having a lions in your house.

I did not ask you to delete the invective, I can live with that, easily. I asked you to delete my 'real' name, which I did not feel you were entitled to use in any event, and more so as it was used in a derogatory way.

Thank you.
