I've added a few more, which is pretty much final knockings now :)

Thanks mate !
Hope you don't think I'm raining on your parade, by the way, Stephen - I should have a very early prototype version to show off soon, hopefully in the next day or so.
I'm more than happy for it to be incorporated here, or to act as a standalone site

Not in the slightest! My thing was more about distinguishing different versions by source and by track length. I'd not built in song writing credits at all.
mjungblu - August 9, 2004 09:22 AM (GMT)
Bremen Nacht Alternative - M.E. Smith
Stuart already mentioned this - I proved what’s on the sleeve
Cab Driver - Smith M.E. (sic.)

on mine neither, but on the expanded deluxe I found

Just added three more (another one I missed from the Behind the Counter series of singles, Happy Holiday) and a couple of cover versions from Oxymoron (am I right in thinking White Lines is the White Lines, Grandmaster Melle Me et al ?

clayts - August 9, 2004 09:39 AM (GMT)
Nice one !!!
Actually, what I'm really doing is forcing Fall fans to re-evaluate their collections and play some old tracks.. mwahh-huh-huh-huh-haaaaaaaaah :P
So, totally off the track with the White Lines thing, then - couldn't quite see MES doing the whole rap thing - mind you, didn't Duran Duran have a really crap effort ?

D'oh ! Sure was - coloured in the wrong one.

Hey Marc Riley is a cover of sorts... it's either a version of "Marc Riley Is A Gunslinger" or vice versa... either way, they're both taken from, I think, a Bo Diddley song... called, ahem, "Bo Diddley Is A Gunslinger".
clayts - August 9, 2004 01:59 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the latest contributions folks.
Here is a very, very basic version of what you'll be able to get.
The wonders of Excel and Word have served me well so far - I may look at a proper database type system, but for the moment this is what I'm kinda thinking.
It will probably be more sassy looking (I will definitely have pictures of LP/single covers included, and possibly even band member photos - have to see how that one goes, though !).
Whaddya think of it so far ?
