The choice was between Yo La Tengo (again), Lydia Lunch (again)...or this fantastic outfit from L.A. Nothing much to choose between, really.
Had ventured into the Altstadt-Grill before they came on...to escape the support act (and grotty venue). Returned just in time to witness one of the greatest shows of '09...
KT was wearing a breathtaking outfit, which I can't even begin to describe.
AT was wearing a lovely blue jacket /w white polka dots on.
Their "back catalog" at this time still fairly restricted, they played their fantastic Thracian debut LP almost in its entirety. The work of genius.
Got to have a chat with Kim and Alice after the show, charming. Turns out both of them are "talons", no "eagle" there!
Trivia: They don't know The Fall, but have promised to "check them out".
