but put out a single years ago with telegraph poles. the cover is taken from an old postcard i had of wyoming taken i think around 1920 . picked it up in a chrity shop somewhere

never got it back from the designer either (and why the fuck did he put orange all over it!

Here are three action shots i took a couple of years ago of an old pole being replaced by a new pole.

The wires are suspended from the big cherry picker while the poles are swopped.

Notice the clean metal fittings on the new pole and the dark timber treatment.

I didn't realise those were all your photos.

You have inspired to have a dig through my album from Japan, where the poles are excellent (they don't have underground power lines because of earthquakes etc.). No scanner, so these are photos of photos...
