Dang, I did wonder if it was them.

rainmaster - October 29, 2009 04:54 PM (GMT)
Actually, 'Spirit' could have been the Leona Lewis debut.

rainmaster - October 29, 2009 05:09 PM (GMT)
Again, there was a metal band called Satan, so...

duckpin236 - October 29, 2009 05:11 PM (GMT)
so is right...I've heard the Spirit album quite a lot years ago; not heard
the metal band Satan although they sound like a good party band

duckpin236 - October 29, 2009 05:30 PM (GMT)
I don't know of any comment you have to apologize for Orph....great quiz :applaud:

and, Audrey, thanks for giving me the name of the initial Art Brut album :)

duckpin236 - October 29, 2009 05:32 PM (GMT)
I was hoping to get the Mekons album correct, I guess I did but not first, because I have virtually all of their material, love them above all reason, and love Shakespeare from whence the title emanates.

Orphiztic - October 29, 2009 05:37 PM (GMT)
Great album from The Leeds band. I was apologizing for calling you the Delphic Oracle yesterday

It's a really good record. People used to say they were a lot like The Fall, which is how I got into them, even though they're not really like The Fall.

duckpin236 - October 29, 2009 05:46 PM (GMT)
no, I am more of the Fancy Gap oracle :D

duckpin236 - October 29, 2009 05:47 PM (GMT)
I want to check out the Art Brut ve Satan then; sounds like they know their way around lyrics and instruments

Ooops I thought it was.

Fritter - October 29, 2009 08:39 PM (GMT)
I really enjoyed the element of "oh, I know that one and that one, but have I got time to type THAT one as well before someone gets in before me with that and several others, plus the two that I knew?" Mind you, I was listening to some pacey music at the time.

Looks like a bonus point to Capp - my knowledge of Murder Junkies etc. doesn't extend beyond what was played on Junior Choice.

Still say I'm owed a bonus for my knowledge of Leona's stunning debut.
