On further reflection, it has to be the hunger strike.

The Undertones talked a lot about this. The album's release coincided with Bobby Sands's death. Apparently the lead guitar part on "You're Welcome" was supposed to emulate the sound of electric shocks being given to H-Block prisoners.

It was all rather a long way from "Jimmy Jimmy", I remember thinking.

Perhaps some of the people who frequent this board and think DBowie is any good can tell me, is the excellent soundtrack (which I gather has not been commercially available ever) to the only-slightly-marred-by-his-overacting "Man Who Fell To Earth" available anywhere?

IE has someone stuck all the requisite bits together and put them on a blog or some such?
