Is that track 11?
It is blistering. Keeps going on forever.
My favorite. (along with Sparta Fc)

my fave one too....i dont think i've seen it once in the set listings of the recent gigs :(

Yep.
Good thing new albums not officially out. New folks expect this stuff at live shows. I just hope they are a a little different from last tour here. I'll go for even crappy keyboards to break-up any monotony.

oh i'll just put the credits as 'the fall' since nobody seems to know :(

Didn't Jim - on Fallnet - say something along the lines of it was mainly him, with Ben adding a few bits?
I could be wrong... my memory...

The bootleg version is just me and mark. I did everything on that track drums etc..
But I wouldnt count on that version being on the album.
Last time I heard it in the studio it had different lyrics and arrangement, again another reason i was a little pissed off about the bootleg getting out prior to the retail release.
It is my favourite atonal riff I have wrote though. Having the guitars play F# while the bass plays F without it being unlistenable made me happy.

I see.... it all makes sense now.....
except the f and f# bit cos i dont really understand chords at all....
Wretched Timesheeter - July 10, 2003 10:44 PM (GMT)
F# is a semi-tone above F. Like if I was to go 'hmmm' and raised the pitch a tiny little bit. Actually, I'm showing that I have not much more understanding than you do. Doesn't stop me trying to write tunes, though! I'm afraid I only know one chord, and I can't even remember what note that is. But yeah, atonality is this: a good thing.
Mike's Love Xexagon has different lyrics and arrangement now? The mind boggles... I wonder what MES is doing / has done to the other tracks? I can really see why you're pissed off, Jim.

well i know how to tune a guitar..... i am just sayin i dont recognise chords when i hear em....i can sense if something sounds nice or discordant ....but i just never analyse it further.....i tried to learn jazz chords on the guitar when i was 15....but it never increased my understanding of anything for songwriting.....so i turned mi back on all that.....and now i couldnt tell u what notes r in an A chord.....i know there r 3....but what they r, i dont remember..... :) i am blissfully ignorant though :D do not try to re-educate me , it takes the magic away for me .....i have mi fingers in me ears now.......
not listening! not listening! not listening! not listening!
