Can't wait to hear the Mix - even if it's only done with nine fingers and a whiffy sink :)

A Worried Man - August 22, 2008 11:22 PM (GMT)
I really like the cover you've made. I love old computer game graphics.

Fritter - August 23, 2008 12:42 PM (GMT)
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but is there a track list for the Mix anywhere please?

(it's a good job it's too long to fit on one CD, otherwise I was going to be a bit lazy and give it to my best friend for his birthday - now I'll just have to finish off that whittling.)

AUDIO CLIPS
From Arbogast & Ross' "Chaos Pt 1 & 2" (culled from the "music for weirdos" compilation on the music for maniacs blog)
From Wikipedia:
QUOTE
In 1958, Bob Arbogast teamed with Stanley Ralph Ross to write and perform the hit 45 rpm single "Chaos, parts 1 and 2," which when it came out (on Liberty Records), sold 10,000 copies in three days, and then was banned from radio play on the fourth day - when stations realized that it satirized "Top 40" radio.

Thanks, Mopiranger. Excellent work!

bradx - August 27, 2008 06:37 AM (GMT)
tis indeed an inspired work.
I'd really like to hear the tracks that didn't get any/ only one vote... as I have heard most of the finished article before.
Any chance of a 2nd CD of also-rans/ or never-were's??
Its a lot to ask I realise, but I'm a greedy pig for novelty records.
Go on Mopi - you will definitely go to heaven then.

Mopiranger - August 27, 2008 04:51 PM (GMT)
A friendly poster asked me the same question before so I have slapped, dragged, plucked, torn, etc... together the entire novelty knockout, that is to say all of them, the entire hot 100.

Send me a PM with your address and i'll be happy to mail it.
