Well spotted! Would like to see it, too. Have heard 'Mermaids and Slaves". Not my cup of tea.
What programme was it?
Wikipedia:

'Loose Women' on ITV weekdays.

Four old trouts moaning about men, fashion, varicose veins and slack pelvic floors...
Tis quite good, actually...

Cheers lad!
Thought 'Loose Women' was the song, not the show. Song must have been 'Mermaids and Slaves', then, likely.

The programme is repeated at 2 am, if anyone wants to catch it.

The one on the left (in the photo) was married to Chris Evans -- before he became successful. I bet she wishes she'd left it another few years before divorcing him.

I thought that was Heaton, had the sound on mute.
He was being interviewed. Looked thinner but still a prat.
What happened to Trafford's band, Tycoon Follies? On hold? Anyone here see 'em?

I'd imagine Heaton pays more.
Dave The Fall Fan - July 2, 2008 11:25 PM (GMT)
yes, I saw the tycoon follies... and they were good... and steve was very proud of em... but maybe without lyrical focus.. maybe that's why Paul Heaton attracts.

Well I'm glad that Steve is doing something constructive and getting on the telly. I would even like to see him become successful, even if it's just so that our Smithy can't claim that no ex-Fall members are ever as successful after leaving the band.
But... Paul f**king Heaton! What a dick. I saw him on telly today actually (presume we are talking about he of Housemartins and Beautiful South fame) on the Politics Show or whatever Andrew Neil's dinnertime vehicle is called. He was talking a load of bollocks on the subject of faith schools. He was on with Tessa Jowell and Ken Clarke. So pathetic was his diatribe that they didn't even really bother to ask Clarke and Jowell to respond. I think that they just established that he was a fruitcake and left it at that.
The other two did give a token response, but I really wanted Clarke to say "The Housemartins were shit and The Beautiful South were even more shit and you've got a shit voice".
But he didn't. :(
