nothing to say to that really strangenut except if you come up with a modicum of an idea and reply you'll hit a hundred posts !

I've always pronounced dour DOWER. And I guess I always will.
But others pronounce it DOOER or DOOR.
It's not regionalised either.
Is there a definitive pronounciation?

Yes. Dour. As its written.

No more tickets available online, only at Dour and on the festival days!
I'm having friends that are camping check for tickets on Sunday.

The correct pronunciation is indeed "Dooer".

others pronounce it DOOER or DOOR.

Eh? They're both said the same way.

In fact so is Dour.

And all rhyme with whore.

just spoke to Simon Taylor (tour manager i think): Dour is definitely OFF.

if anyone's got tickets and is still going, Heavy Trash (ft. Jon Spencer) are on at 4pm and they're really good.
