Not at all!
What I can do is keep updating the master list as people post suggesions.
So it really will become fairly comprehensive.

Phoenix (have a bleedin' guess)

Kingback Namated Empire (?): hard to make out the place name in the Part of America version of Cash & Carry, but it does seem certain that there is a Safeway there (then again there is a fucking Safeway everywhere -- even Manchester!).

There may be more places mentioned in the Part of America version of C & C, but I will have to plead with Darnielle on this one: my Californian ears can seldom make out Fall words. Maybe too busy thinking about weighty topix like sex & death.

On edit: further research on this message board reveals that the lyric in question above is actually King Nat Limited Empire. Not sure if this is a place or not (I know Lancas. is). Therefore, I will change this portion of my answer to "Mexico" because I am sure there is a reference to that place, albeit in adjectival form.

Are you Woody Allens bastard son :D
Don't worry too much about it,by the sound of his sex-life now in his earlier days you must be one in a very extensive queue!

No, but I was just talking to Woody about The Fall -- he has trouble making out the words, too. Then he went off into this long thing about how this feeds into his insecurities.

The VALLEYS OF LEICESTERSHIRE, which gave us our Crew Filth. :P

"The Park" referred to in some early work is almost certainly HEATON PARK in North Manchester, scene of Papal Visit, bad sex and being alight with Acid RA-AIN.

bezenby2 - May 24, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)
I'm sure he's mentioned Manchester a few times
