Title: Bremen Nacht

I see from the Frenz topic that there a lot of people prefer the version "Bremen Nacht" form the Frenz vinyl over "Bremen Nacht Alternative" which is on the CD.
I have the CD. Is the original version on any of the other CDs? Is it possible I've never heard this supposedly superior version? I've got Backdrop which has "Bremen Nacht Run Out" and there's something called "Last Nacht" on Kurious Oranj. Am I am missin' Bremen Nacht?

The run out version is the single one.
The vinyl version seems to be exclusive.
I wouldn't like to miss this version. Bremen Nacht is one of my favourites. I have it as ringtone in my nokia.
But I don’t recognize the version sourced for the ringtone melody. I imagine that it is the high concentrated outstanding vinyl version. Or is it a live version?
By the way, Frenz on vinyl is better than the CD.

Unfortunately, the vinyl version of Bremen Nacht hasn't been released on CD. It's not just shorter, it's better.

How would you rate the mythical vinyl version vs. Oswald Defence Lawyer's 'live' version?
Plenty of punch on that record, where they seem to have dispensed with the subtleties of saxophone, just slamming in with bass assault .. and mark's vocal is megaphonic B)

Four years later....
Is the vinyl version available ANYWHERE on CD or mp3 or whatever? I love that version and unfortunately do not have access to it currently.

What I would have said as well. The LP version has indeed more of that "bite". One of the first Fall songs I've heard, btw.

right in the beginning is this voice saying something like "meine arbeit"! (my work)
Like "Arbeit, Mitte, Uns" in REFORMATION.
Does anybody know the origin of this voice sample in BREMEN NACHT?

I've now got a real itch to hear this, love the 'alternative' version from the CD.
After extensively scouring the net I'm no closer to finding an mp3, Amazon & iTunes not turning up anything.
Is there anywhere I can purchase this track online? Not really into shelling upwards of £30-40 for a boxset where I already have 99% of the material :(
And before anyone suggests the Frenz vinyl, I don't have a turntable...
