Description: self love or self loathing?

If u haven't heard the New Bad Things then thats a pity cuz its ONE of the BEST records EVER made. Peely loved it and it was quite high in a festive 50 one year I think. It hasn't shown up in a poll on here tho so maybe I'm wrong. dunno, lack of information, sorry.
The Stone Roses still gets played at youth clubs and indie discos throughout this fair land but its corny to me.
Vote Suck.

Well, I had to go & get it from an 'unofficial' source, but yes it's very good & certainly better than the Roses track which was a bad one to start the album with.

Didn't you meet them once? What were they like?

When Elephant Stone came out - just after - they played The Richmond in Brighton which is like a 250 capacity venue. It was before the album and Fools Gold etc so not many people knew them. They were not easy to talk to, seemingly having not much to say. Jack the lads really. It was a 5 minute interview that got edited to about 3 mins which was still too long. There was more of me on the interview than them. There was no particular indication they were going to be world-changing.

Fully concur. Pretty high up in my own all-time Festive 50, too, and hope it gets a good draw/run in this Festive 50 Cup thing currently doing the rounds.

John Cale sucks - and he's Welsh. There's only one choice here.
