9. When Lemmy left Hawkwind, Bastard was suggested as the name of the new band...but i don't think they ever actually played as such. I'm thinking of another outfit anyway.

Malice became The Cure, I think and then that's me stumped.

Unless 48 Hours was an early Shane Macgowan band, I know he did a fanzine called "48 Thrills"?

Malice = Cure, yes.

Adrian Thrills did the 48 Thrills zine... Shane contributed.... he certainly wrote for fanzines at the time. Anyway - no...the clue is...that theband they turned into also had numbers in their name...
