I don't know how far the original DVD got to before the crash so I am happy to send out a new version of this. So, let's start again. Please reply on this board if you are want to be in the vine for this.

Compared to the last version, there are a few additional gigs and improved versions of some of the performances. I know a few people did get the original DVD before the crash a few months ago; if any of you who did just want the changes, I can put them onto a CD and you can send it to each other.

These are all audio with mostly mp3s with some in mp4a's, wma and flac. A few are in the WAV format which will burn straight to CD. If any will not decode using your CD burning software then you can do it with other software. I recommend this dbpoweramp music converter which is freeware http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
and download the relevant codecs from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm

As I am not a fan of rough sounding bootlegs, this collection is drawn from the better sounding end of the spectrum. Enjoy.

No problem. I'm glad you like it. It's interesting as the gigs I really like myself off of this are those from 1981 - good performances and good sound quality. I particularly like the QMU, Glasgow and Trenton. I also tend to play the Manchester Roadhouse 93, Rotterdam 83 and 84 and Munich 2004 a lot as well - corkers.

However I noticed recently that the rules stated send on the original, which is a lot easier if I have trouble making copies again.

i have many of these, but also there are some I don't have.

There are a couple that might be longer or better quality recordings than the ones i have already. :)

And now I have a cd player in my car, an incentive to put them onto CD for that (and 'surprise' friends who I give lifts to when I listen to them :devil2: :D )

Received Aramchek's details yesterday. Disc in the post this morning. Job's a good 'un. Those others who are no doubt salivating at the thought of this wonderful CD should, however, dampen their ardour a little. Aramchek is down under while I'm in Manchester - just letting y'all know about the inevitable delay this will cause the chain. That said, if Hender is in the UK then I'll burn a second copy and post that to him over the weekend to keep things moving. Aramchek might want to arrange an antipodean leg?

Phew I think I lost the plot somewhere in this vine. Yes the disc is a week or so away from me but I am now unsure who to contact as to who I am sending it on. If I am the only "southerner" I am always happy to wait until it bounces around the north before getting my copy.
Its not like I am going anywhere :lol:

You are the only Southerner on this so far, and it's already on it's way to you. So, I reckon check the situation when you are ready to send it on. It may make most sense to send it onto Youdancer, as Hender and Stranger are UK based. :)

Good news! (for me anyway)

it's arrived...I was beginning to get f***ing angry with the postmen again :devil2: thinking have they been leaving parcels outside the door again and running away? :o (without even checking if anyone's in, as they have done. Wankers. :finger: :grrr: :rant: ).
