kiespijn - December 6, 2010 11:20 PM (GMT)
The contents of this thread seem to have disappeared. In the meltdown, I suppose.
Anyway, I was at the tot's xmas razzle this morning and they started playing the usual kids tv theme tunes. Balamory came on, but for some fleeting moments I could've sworn it was big new prinz. A big shame.

Such a great Youthube clip too. Introduced by Tony Wilson and featuring a very glamourous version of The Fall playing incredibly well. It's possibly my favourite Fall Youthtube clip.

the first fall song i ever heard... (that'd be new big prinz as opposed to big new prinz or big new priest?).
bought it as a curious 16 year old in 1988 and never looked back! :applaud: :applaud:

Having just listened again to the 27 Points version, I'm convinced it's the definitive one

True, but as it has a good couple of minutes of Hip Priest piped in before BNP (unfortunate acronym) kicks off, I'd still consider 27 Points the optimum fix :D
