Title: Shameless Big-me-up
Description: it's about time...

Alex - March 13, 2006 11:46 PM (GMT)
it's about time i left a shameless big me up for my radio show on sin radio. go to sin radio and click listen live. it's every monday 8-10pm. we play rock, alterntive and cheesey poppy stuff (i played the bullets amongst other this week). we put a lot of effort into it, and due to a lame marketing team and the most apathetic student community in the world, hardly anyone listens!

go here to view playlists. if you like what you see then tune in every monday 8-10pm at sinradio.co.uk.

also whilst im bigging me up: myspace.com/fromcaliforniauk - might as well.

sorry i had a sudden and very rare confidence boost from nowhere.

Latest playlist looks great!

Reminds me, a few months ago I met the bloke who's the main person in the video for Chicken Payback, as he's a friend of a friend of a friend. I hadn't seen the video by then, but for a moment everyone else said "You're the guy in that video! Hey! You really are! Go on, do the dance!" and asked lots of questions. But he said all he had to do was dance all day and it was boring, and then I saw the video and indeed it was boring, and it was all very disappointing and anti-climactic.

I bet he probably appreciates being asked that about as much as Ricky Gervais!

I'm liking much of those playlists...I'll have to add Mondays 8-10 (when I'm at home) to my radio playlist. :D

Do you know if the Cartel you've played are the same Cartel from Stoke-on-Trent?

And if there's any chance of some airplay from The Cakes, let me know if you'd like a CD. :)

the cartel from stoek-on-trent might be disappointed to find out that there's a US pop-punk band caled cartel signed to Militia Group. can't see it being too much of a problem though.

also, the cakes would be good indeed. we try and play as much unsigned stuff as we can get our hands on. i'm happy to help.
