Went to see the little britain tour in nottingham lastnight, was absolutely fantasic.

Wasn't sure how much of the show they'd manage to transfer to a live show due to the high number of costume changes involved and limited scenery but they did it brilliantly.

Practically every major character from the 1st two series was there in full costume each with their own scenery plus a few new characters from the next series. They somehow managed to get changed from scene to scene in literally seconds, and a Tom Baker voice over and video clip was used to link each scene whilst the brief costume changes took place.

As for the scenery, they had a large white wall with some doors in for the background onto which they projected the background scene for each sketch, props (desks, tables etc..) slid on and off the stage for each scene and it all worked great.

The show itself was hilarious, every sketch was new (no repeats from the TV show unlike The League OF Gentleman when i saw them a few years ago) and it was basically more of the same but even more risque.

I won't spoil any of the jokes by saying what happens as I guess some people might be going other dates on the tour or picking up the inevitable DVD release but if you like the TV show and are going to the live one then you won't be dissapointed, i was crying in laughter all through it.

Be warned though, if you're in the first row you may well get picked on, two or three of the sketches involved audience participation from one or two lucky people.. so beware - especially if you're a larger sized person.

One guy out of the audience who got picked to help out genuinely looked terrified.. was hilarious to watch but wouldn't be suprised if he refuses to sit in the front row at a comedyshow ever again.
