I've always wondered why JB used the name Lord Melbury, and last night I think I found out where he got it from. I was watching the first episode of Fawlty Towers, the one where Basil is supposed to be hanging the picture on the wall and really hates the motorcyclist who turns out to be working for CID.

Lord Melbury is the name the con-artist goes by. Do you reckon that's where he got it from, or is there another Lord Melbury somewhere? Or was it just a made up coincidence?

i dunno if it's that, but when i first saw his e-mail i knew i'd heard it somewhere. it's probably that.

is he drumming on dissapear here or did he do something before?

The guy in Fawlty Towers is certainly the only Lord Melbury I've ever heard of.
