how likely does anyone think this is? Obviously, in the sleeve notes for DWD, we are promised 'a lick and a promise' in 2007. I just hope we get it, as any news on the silver sun front since the mini tour has kinda been non existent. Thoughts?

I was thinking about this the other day. Are the sales of Disappear Here and Dad's Weird Dream good enough for Invisible Hands? Obviously, they put absolutely no promotion (apart from the tour) into Dad's Weird Dream, whereas we got posters and stickers to advertise the previous album. Are we to presume that this wasn't repeated because they didn't have a big enough impact?

I'm not going to complain about the lack of promotion - JB once said that as long as each album makes enough to finance the next then he's happy, and I must admit, so am I.

I just hope Invisible Hands are happy too. I can't believe they didn't announce the release of Fallen, and I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

exactly man, as long as the albums do keep coming, that's all i care about. It's annoying that Silver Sun don't get the promotion they deserve, when in the mainstream music scene i have to hear the same crap all the time, a band that truly sounds like no one else is not getting heard, it's frustrating!

I agree it's a bit bemusing that Silver Sun don't get any promotion these days. I must admit they fell off my radar competely until recently - I didn't even know that they had released two more albums, which I now have and love.

I want to see them again, back in 99 they blew me away at Leeds Cockpit. When will they tour the UK again? Somone must know something

Hi easytiger - welcome to the board, and hooray that you found out about the two more albums! They were recording their next one in August/September, so I'm guessing that it's on its way. The last two albums took aaaages, with great big silences in between, but the wait was worth it. Why not email James Broad and nag him mercilessly?
