Just want to apologise for the annoying advert that's now popping up on the front page of the site and the smaller ones on the other pages - I cancelled a couple of the services i'd bought with the webspace and wasn't using and it looks like one of them must've been giving me the bonus of removing the adverts too.

I'm gonna sort it out tonight so hopefully they'll be gone again by tommorrow!

You use Easyspace, don't you? You must have cancelled the paid web redirection as you can still have it for free if you have their adverts!

I use their paid up 100MB "full hosting service" so the site is on their servers too rather than redirecting to my freeserve space like i used to (wanted more space for the vid clips and stuff).

I thought you didn't get any adverts with that but it seems you do - the cancelled services were just the ASP and MySQL support - I'd planned on putting all the news in a database and doing it that way thinking it'd be easier to update but it turned out to be a pain so i didn't bother renewing them and went back to the old way of doing things.

Looks like one or the other of those services must've come with advert removal as a bonus so think i'm gonna have to pay for the "no banner" upgrade thing they have.

Actually I've had no pop up ads come up when logging in........... :blink:
