Title: Bootleg Of Luminaire
Description: Anyone Record?

I know there was talk about it but did anyone manage to do a bootleg recording of the Luminaire Gig?

Superb pictures, pretty heavy duty that camera from what I saw, I know somone was recording the gig on a cam though not sure if all.

I thought it was tops a bit emptier than I thought but love the venue etc I still think the Islington gig in September 2006 was the best (for me) since their return. I've only seen them 4 times since their return maybe Jay, Shed, Alex's, D & Phil could judge it better from other gigs.

James has posted a live recording of Poppin on the Myspace.

As for gigs since the comeback, The Luminaire was my third favourite out of three. It was good, but the other two were spectacular, and had longer sets I think, as well as more of my favourites. High Times was played at Nottingham which was truly amazing, as was an unrehearsed Last Day at Cardiff a few years back. I don't think a heavy whack to the head earlier in the day helped my enjoyment at The Luminaire though...

Cardiff, Barfly was by far the best. Doing the unreharsed requests from the crowd. The sound was amazing too.

Nottingham was prob the worst I have seen. The sounds was poor.

They've only played Nottingham once in the last few years so that must be the one I went to...2005 was it? I thought the sound was fine, but sometimes it can depend where you're standing.

I loved Nottingham too, but then we were stood right at the front. The sound was much better than Bristol, but the sheer volume and ambience made Bristol a superb gig.

So that's what I think!

Well I'm not in double figures like maybe some of the other usual suspects etc but obviously its good that there still around to see. I've seen them 6 times in total.

I think the Astoria 1998 was the best for me prior to them vanishing. Least favourite being Camden Barfly in November 2004 it just didn't feel like a SS gig that night for me.

Ha I'm getting too old ;) :P

The recent one in Bristol was the best of the five or so that I've been to... the sound was ace and... yeah.
