Listen to this album.

It's like a British Fountains of Wayne! Poppy songs with catchy choruses . It's the baby of Paul Quinn, from Teenage Fanclub, and it's EXCELLENT!!!!! Not as "soaraway" (Saturday's Guardian Gig Guide's description of SS ) as James' stuff, but well, well worth a listen.

Go on, treat yourself. Because you're worth it!

North Pole or Go? I think I prefer the debut, North Pole, it sounds more like The Primary 5 and less like Teenage Fanclub, whereas Go seems to have a few more songs that could be easily mistaken for TFC and isn't standing up to many repeat listens for me at the moment, whereas North Pole is still enjoyed two/three years later. If they were TFC albums, they wouldn't be up there with Grand Prix or SFNB, but would be with the rest. That's very high praise as TFC are one of my favourite bands ever.
