Invite: Not required. RP open to anyone.
Character Sheet: Link or sig.

Style of RP: Romance... entangled in warfare. But keep the storyline on romance between your character with someone else's character.

Time and Setting: Past, in a small village at the center of a valley.
Fandom: Accepted, but just not too much.
House Rules: No less than 5 sentence posts. Everything must be in past tense. Pretend your character has lived in the village for a long time and has some relationship to others. In your first post, you must tell what your character was doing around the time the invaders were spotted. Also, to make the whole romance thing work, every character must be from the ages of 16-18.

Description:
Time has passed. The village has prospered. It is now springtime, and love fills the air. But just as the day known in the tales from wanderers as Valentine's Day passes, a loud booming can be heard from all around. The enemy nation has come to demolish the city and kill all who live. This is the tale of how love will prevail in the fight for survival...

((Char Sheet and Skill Chart sigged. I will be using Amy for this.))

This night was beautiful. Sky gleaming the tone from light blue to black, the sun lowering in the distance, surrounded by the orange streaks that filled the sky all around, up until it had met with the nighttime colors. Amy was strolling down the main village road, passing the dojos, markets, and houses, a bit depressed that she had not found a "Valentines" on this day, but overall happy. The wind blew along the path, her hair flowing back down against her backside, despite the effort that she had made to tie it up in a "Terra Twist" style. "Oh geez... I should really cut my hair shorter sometime..." Passing along the road, she had found to her joy that a present was left at the doorstep of her house. Quickly moving over off the street and into the plot of land that she called home, she had wondered what it could be...

-----

Now night, Amy laid on her front lawn, looking up into the night sky with her newly obtained Crescent Staff across her waist. She was hoping for to fine her "Valentine" by the end of the day, which would come in a few more hours. Of course, the village was a small one, and there were only a few boys in her age range of whom only a few she liked. But little as she knew, an invasion was just about to begin on this small village of Ur...

((Faaaaaaake! <3 for him. Sheet in the sig; Skills in the sig. His name's highlighted in green in the skill topic. Also, Yuuki doesn't really have any skills... perhaps an element katana like Grey's Shikijen, but not much else. And he'll be a minor character here. Pleeeeease? ^_^?))

Fake walked through the small village, wondering. It had been long since he'd had a Valentine; Grey had long hence died due to illness in the lungs. However, the day bothered him not as he passed throughout, his mind preoccupied with other matters.
Yuuki had gone north for the day, giving neither reason nor time of return as he'd darted out the door. Not only that, but whispers had passed around town concerning his brother and sister, with her passing and his response to it.
The nerve of people.
He pushed it from his mind, walking towards the market. "Hello, Fake!" a rather chubby man said, smiling as he loaded new cartons of fruit for shoppers. "Anything today?"
"Not today, not today... You haven't seen my brother, have you?"
"No," the man responded, blinking. "Though he said yesterday that he was headin' up to the north for somethin'.
"Yeah, I know... thanks anyways," Fake said, walking through the market and out towards the north, looking up towards the path. It was enough, with the missing pills and the sudden marks and the weird, newfound tendancy of his brother to give his things away. Now, he goes missing, without a word saying why?
"First Grey left..." thought Fake, trying not to consider what Yuuki could have done.

Continuing to lie on the ground, Amy yawned. It was getting late, and there was something in the air that made her feel uneasy. Getting up, she noticed one person moving along the path which was laid in front of her house (her house was built somewhat near the market). As for now, she recognized it to be someone who went by the name of Fake. Turning with not much care, she began to head back into her small home...

--------------------

From far away, the soldiers began their march to destruction. They were atop the valley which surrounded the village now, and they had no intent of stopping until they got there.

KatanokiChaos - March 2, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
Fake stopped for a moment, pausing and breathing heavily, Yuuki still nowhere to be found. "God damnit..." he cursed, slowly standing straight. Perhaps he'd gone back to town? Fake doubted it, but it was all he could think of, and as he slowly caught his breath, he turned back down the path and back to the village.

((Introducing: Leon Misamura, the older brother of Drake. I have to use him sometime, right?))

--------------------

The soldiers' march continued on rigorously. Moving past obstacles in the night, seemingly with unmatched and un-altering speed, they killed anyone who passed by them. But there was one person in the road, of whom they had spotted. At the front, a single voice commanded all to stop, at least at his squadron to pause. But who was this man and why did he yell for such a sudden stop? It was none other than Leon...

--------------------

"Halt!"

Leon shouted into his group, this command. He had always the best sense of skill in enemies and could always seem to spot the strong ones. But the one in front of them was not extraordinarily powerful one... It was only a young man, who was carrying a katana a his side. But why would the Misamura captain halt the troops for this one weakling? He had his reasons...

KatanokiChaos - March 5, 2007 02:40 AM (GMT)
Fake looked over at the troops, unaware of the destruction behind them. "Soldiers..." his left hand rested on his katana, right prepared to draw as he looked upon Leon and the troops. "Why are you here?"

Devking - March 5, 2007 03:34 AM (GMT)
((Leon talks weird... so it's not my grammar being bad again.))

"We are here for none of reasons."

Getting off of his steed, Leon began to draw his sword, its blade gleaming in the moonlight as he pulled it out. "Now move away!" He held the sword as he moved into an attack position. "Or die!" Of course, there was no option for the swordsman in front of them. Either way, Fake was a dead man...

KatanokiChaos - March 7, 2007 02:00 AM (GMT)
"I..." Fake questioned, tone raising as if he'd been insulted. "You say that I should move?" His pupils thinned slightly as he whispered, "It's fairly obvious you've never been here." He made a soft, "Heh," before adding, "Now, move. I've more important matters to attend to and I won't waste time fighting a stuck up fuck like yourself."
He walked directly towards Leon, intending to shove through him if he didn't comply.

Devking - March 7, 2007 03:56 AM (GMT)
"An angry one we have here, eh?"

Leon had no compassion, for sure, but he did have control over his own feelings and emotions. Watching what the traveler would do next, he lowered his weapon to the side of himself and grinned. "So is that your decision?" Asking with more and more fierceness as he continued, "If so, then you can expect such an early grave..." Dropping the brown cloak that now seemed to cover him, a reflection from the moon became apparent, as his under-layer of steel appeared. He did not intend to waste time. Leon's eyes quickly turned a blood red, and his sword began to burn a red flame. "And now, your story ends..."

((Leon refers to lives as 'stories'.))

KatanokiChaos - March 8, 2007 02:52 AM (GMT)
Fake rolled his eyes, though keeping alert. "I don't have time for this..." he muttered, looking for a route of escape. Perhaps if he moved back, he could lure the man forward and lunge past... He began stepping back. He needed this to work. Yuuki needed this to work.

Devking - March 8, 2007 04:45 AM (GMT)
Leon signaled over to the troops behind him, in a motion as that to get them to head back. Still looking ahead at the man in front of him, he began to walk forward, in a counter to the backstep of which his opponent had taken. This would be quick. But painful. Escape was not a choice made for the enemy. It was a long time since Leon entered in a duel, and his blood was boiling for the satisfaction of killing. Moving ahead, the flames on his sword began to emit a black aura. It was killing time.

KatanokiChaos - March 9, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
Fake's eyes trained on the sword, quickly running forward. "Come on... take the bait..." Fake thought, hoping the man would duck past him, or otherwise leave him an option for escape.

Devking - March 9, 2007 01:54 AM (GMT)
"Fool. Is it your wish to die?"

Leon pulled his sword up as to counter the attack, but decided against it. Leering in the aggressor for the lunge, he turned to the side by a bit, ready to strike when passed.

KatanokiChaos - March 13, 2007 09:25 PM (GMT)
Fake watched as the man moved, standing there for a moment.
"So, I have two options, then," Fake thought aloud. "And I think I know which one I'm going to choose."
A moment passed, Fake staring Leon down, katana poised for attack, and then he made his move, spinning around and bolting into the forest. He knew there was a pathway that could lead him back to the village, if he was able to reach it.

Devking - March 14, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
"Not so fast!"

A soldier walked out from the direction in which Fake was moving. It was apparent now that the two were surrounded, as so their battle would not be disturbed. He grinned, now moving in for a lunge of his own on Fake's backside.

---------------------

Amy awoke, almost as if had heard Leon's voice shout out. She knew that he was here... But for what reason? And who was he battling?

KatanokiChaos - March 14, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
Fake ducked and rolled away from the attack, drawing the katana. If he had to kill some of the man's guards, so be it, but he was getting away from here.

Devking - March 14, 2007 03:50 AM (GMT)
((Note: I can't really fight with Leon or else it'll be godmodding. So... what should I do?))
((It would be godmodding because Leon is set to be really strong. >.<))

Getting up from the bed and dressing for battle, she knew now that it was Fake, the man she had seen earlier, against Leon, one of her old friends. Taking the staff of which she had just received, Amy began to head up the mountain, hoping to stop Leon from causing harm...

--------------------

Turning over, Leon watched as the enemy seemed to become serious about the fight. It would be over soon, anyways, he thought. The flame that continued now burned into a gray tint, only to be seen at the edges of the weapon. Only time could tell if Leon was moving in for the kill or not.

KatanokiChaos - March 19, 2007 07:08 PM (GMT)
((._. There aren't power levels or anything in the board. Everyone's equal. Maybe I should've stuck that in the rules... We used to have PLs, but people got pissed off and stuff, so they were taken away. I mean, you could put that in the house rules, but I didn't see anything...))

Fake swung the katana hurriedly, attempting to cut a pathway through the guards to the forest. There, he knew he could escape.

Devking - March 21, 2007 01:28 AM (GMT)
((I don't see any mention of power levels... And if you're talking about Leon, his skill charges up. It takes many turns to deal, but it's supposed to be VERY strong.))

-I'm Too lazy to post right now, just telling you that (above). I will post later.
